Thank you for confirmation ! When I got divorce after 5 years of marriage in December 2023 and my attorney looked at those papers . It had no reason to why my spouse wanted a divorce . The only thing it stated was…we were living apart for 6 months or more . Well, ya think he’s in the military since 2021 and wasn’t like that before . He was a man of God faithfully. Lord forgive him for he knows not what he do !! 🛐✝️🫶🏾🙏🏾 I’m still standing and believing my marriage will be restored 💕

@@StormsHurt Rejection and possibly PTSD. I’m his first wife and vice versa. His mental has definitely changed from caring to non caring. I believe also that he thought by joining the military would be better for him but it turned out not so good and instead of telling me how he really felt about it when he was already in. He feared the embarrassment and shame maybe from others and including myself . Either way, he was my husband and I stood beside him either way but he also felt that I would walk away from him just as others ( family, ex girlfriends) did in his childhood when he didn’t live up to their expectations. So his cop out was to divorce me before I did the same ( not my intentions) but he couldn’t take the rejection if that was the case. Instead I felt the rejection. He’s so broken and hurt and just as Jamie referenced “hurt people hurt people “ I notice that he suffers from depression because I heard it and saw it as we FaceTime and he said … you have no idea what I go through with a sad expression. His routine is the barracks and work. He’s always been a loner but I believe this adds to it. I truly believe that he regrets that he filed and it has come to this because I notice that he would send me a text message that is totally irrelevant to anything , as he is trying to get my attention because we haven’t spoken to one another . To me that’s a sign that he’s trying to reach out but fears that I would reject him if he did so , but I have expressed to him through email, text, and etc that I’m just here to listen.

They fear what the military or others will think. When it’s a Safe Space they will eventually open up ❤️. I will keep you in prayer 🙏🏽

The most important thing if a Christian marriage is in crisis, the forgiveness. Divorce is not the solution. In case of adultey as well. The offender stops adultery, and makes regain the trust, and the victim forgives and be open to restoration. Any other solution in a Christian marriage is not following the will of God.
My Wife is actually a Christian, her Dad was a Pastor for nearly 65 years, and she IS saved, not a Grand-daughter, but a Daughter, and I am a Son. However, she has decided after 'consulting' 'spiritual counselors' that it was okay to divorce me. We had an argument, very truthfully, and IF I hit her at all, it was a concidental collision, as I would never beat up my own body, my very best friend on Earth, on purpose. If both of us know the scriptures, supposedly on her part, then how could she even remotely think to divorce me. I did not sign satan's contract and, of course, in the spiritual she remains my covenant one-flesh prodigal spouse, and I feel as though I have been stabbed in the back. I am praying for healing for both of us. Is she rejecting God, or is she just playing Church?

This is. VERY similar to my situation. My wife went to a Christian college and her father is a retired minister. There has been absolutely no infidelity on my part and I have NEVER laid a finger on her. She has emotionally abused me for seven years of marriage and ghosted me when I wasn’t home. She left without saying a word after seven years of marriage! She tells her friends and family that I’m the one who is emotionally abusive! She left 4 months ago and have had no contact for the last three and a half months. I struggle to even want to be reconciled but I know that is not Gods will. I don’t know emotionally how I would/could navigate a reconciliation but trust that the Holy Spirit will guide me. My emotions span the spectrum on a daily basis. It’s exhausting but my relationship with God has never been stronger. I’m afraid to lose that by reconciling. So much pain.
Yes… to both of you …it’s important to try to see the root of the issue. The actions are just a manifestation of something deeper. Seek the Lord for wisdom and discernment to know and understand what is behind their actions. Then you can take authority over any demonic spirit and remove it and free them. I suggest you read about spiritual warfare. Derek Prince has many good books. This is a spiritual battle and can only be won in the spiritual realm. You can also check out Gerald Benton. She is under a spirit of deception and possibly self-centeredness. She hasn’t surrendered to Jesus. Even Christians can be deceived.
