- As I have journeyed through my time of standing for marriage restoration I have learned so much! My heart's desire is to share those lessons the Lord has taught me with you. My hope is that you will feel encouraged and grow in your faith as you continue your stand and know that you are not alone. God's ways are always the best ways and may His perfect will be your portion.

As soon as i stopped getting angry and hurt and started praying for him, even though we’re long distance.. Once my heart changed and i started praying for him and i furiously with love.. He began pursuing me again ❤

Why do you need to feel pursued? Pursuing others is exhausting and only done in the beginning, when he's proving himself to you. If he has to constantly prove himself to prove his love to you, you have no trust or confidence in him. Or did you have a different definition of "pursuing"?

I come in complete agreement with this! I declare, decree and claim this! God is working and moving in me and in my spouse! The changes I’ve seen already could only come from God! My marriage is not restored, yet, but God can and will restore and renew my marriage! He is faithful and just! Trust in Him completely, in total submission and complete surrender! I’m still working on this, but as I continue to work on myself, I see how God is working and moving in my spouse! We serve an all powerful and faithful God who keeps his promises! Let us all pray and encourage each other in this season, in this journey!

How long have you been apart? Divorced?
We’ve only been physically separated 2 months, but as I go through this journey I realized that we have been separated in home for a while. We were living as roommates and there was no love, but my sins and evil ways had me blinded to all the warning signs. I believe that God hardened my heart so that he could allow this situation to bring me to the place I needed to be at to turn away from doing things my way but rely and lean on him and get right with God first, and learn to trust in Him! I also believe that God then allowed my spouse to harden their heart to fix things in my spouse too! If my spouse hadn’t hardened their heart I wouldn’t have seen things through God’s ways, but I would have changed in my flesh to save my marriage but the change needs to come through a change in my walk with Christ and in my heart!

I’m leaving God to restore my marriage still right now. I trust him. Prayers for helping anytime unbelief tries to come up and prayers for my heart posture being right and me being impatient and my wife’s heart changing and her coming home and her accepting me back as her husband.
But these things I’m about to do to try to bless my wife may they be done unto the Lord and not for her to come home and be done out of love because we are to love our wives as Christ of the church which is unconditionally
Pls include me in your prayers. My faith is wavering. At the start of my journey in standing for my marriage I was full of hope that my marriage will be restored. A year later and now that my husband is processing the divorce I honestly lost all the hope and even has doubts now that my marriage is going to be restored. ☹ When I watch marriage restoration videos all I could say to myself is that "restoration of my marriage is way too blurry and far off from me". 😭 Help me Lord Jesus.
I suggest you listed to testimonies of restored marriages. Most people will say it seemed impossible…but God! He is the god of the impossible!!

God always fulfills His promises! He WILL restore and redeem my husband and our marriage! He already is healing and restoring me! We are both broken and needed His love and grace. I believe God can turn my husband’s heart toward home. The thing I wonder is how will my husband know my heart, that I’m now a changed person due to God since he went completely no contact. It’s been 8 months now. He refuses to reply to anything. He lives with the counterfeit still.

God will reveal your new heart and the changes to your husband. You don’t need to prove anything. Allow the Lord to do that for you. It’s supernatural!

I was married for 14 years, my wife simply left saying she was unhappy for a while, she blocked me on all platforms for 2 months no contact,she lives far away in another city,I'm a Christ loving prayer worrier but not seeing anything change...I believe God will restore this marriage and I battle to sit around and wait when I don't see any change

Beautiful! Yes and Amen to God turning our spouses hearts to us and is to them. I have been praying this same thing for several months now and often because of that exact scripture! Also been praying for Him to prepare me and my spouse for our coming together.

This is very easy to talk about. I often feel that it is "shared by people who have not been through it". Married people tell me "don't put the wife/husband first". If I remove his/her spouse out of their life? Right now? Would they still be so smart?
You have been waiting. Monday.... Friday... January... March... June.... Nothing. I keep hearing that God can, will, knows.... But nothing. No communication. Divorce. Bad things... Because of me, my heart, my behavior?
Your husband/wife meanwhile is having a good time, cheating well because he's/she's free. But I will be kind, forgiving. If she gets tired of cheating, I should take it back kindly, not arrogantly. Don't speak about the past, because it can be uncomfortable for him. So he/she did what he did with virtual impunity.

We can’t go off what we see. God can’t lie and won’t be mocked. He can’t bless sin. Keep declaring the word over your spouse and stand firm on gods promises.
I would like to testify, this didn't work for me. I prayed,cried, tried for 25 years and my situation grew worse. I was finally granted a spiritual divorce from God. I also experienced witnessing sincere heart change in others that did happen, Amen. This happened in a matter of months which confirmed to me God is always working in hearts, the best thing to do is walk away and allow Him.

God can definitely change their heart. My wife heart was seemed to change and she wanted to work on our marriage but few weeks later she gave up again and done. She divorced me last year July and actually remarried. But few weeks after coming to me wanting to work on us and restore our family but now she’s back to not wanting to. I’ll take blame for it as I still have work to do but she also showed she’s not fully submitted to God will and any thing “difficult” she runs. But I know too God still has to work on me. I rather she stays away then say I’m committed then next day she’s not. I’m good on that
I didn’t exhibit a kind spirit or gentle so she ran again. Tough when being blamed for everything even for their issues. Idk if I’ll ever be where I should be for her to feel she can be committed as she once vowed.
Yes allow god to complete the work he’s doing. Trust the process!
@@roadtorestoration5371 trying to, hope I didn’t mess things up even more. I’ve said some tough things out of love that she not receiving. She’s playing with fire marrying a foreigner who never been to the US and did it 4 months after our divorce. I’ve tried warning her she’s being used for a green card but she doesn’t want to listen. She went to get baptized this past Sunday and followed it with not listening to God or seeking Him just decided to go right back to the foreigner. I pray for covering and protection over my young children. I pray that this other person never set a foot in the same home as my children

She wants me to grab the rest of my things from our home and is putting it up for sale. Our divorce is final in a few weeks. We need every prayer we can get please. I believe God is the only one who can soften her hardened heart. This has been a mental, physical and most of all spiritual battle but I believe God will heal us and help us overcome.
@@ryanr6607 Yes he will heal you and help you overcome. Don’t let a divorce or the sale of a house discourage you from what god can do!! It’s a process and will be difficult and painful but god will use it for your good (and your wife’s good) and his glory!!

I am battling with this, 2 years ago I prayed for restoration of my marriage before and after my wife left, she has since then slept with 2 different men and I'm not so sure I want her to come back anymore
We forgive 70 x 7….Just like we are forgiven. Ask the lord to help you see your wife through his eyes. Remember it’s a spiritual battle. Her sin is a reflection of her brokenness and wounds.
@@roadtorestoration5371 I'm not sure forgiveness will help me with my reconciliation with her. I know I need to forgive her but that doesn't mean I have to take her back
I love the truth that God is able to change our spouse’s heart- something that no person can do. But what do you do if your spouse has remarried someone else? If this is the case, is it still a valid prayer to ask God to change their heart so that they turn back to Him and to us as the standing spouse as well?
Yes absolutely keep praying! If they divorced you and are remarried the word says they are in adultery.

Instead of asking when ask God what….Lord what do you want to change in me? Trust His timing is perfect and he will turn your spouses heart in due season!
