You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *esluxy* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items

I just bought a smaller size last week in a new color. It’s a similar color to my Birkin 25 Beton, but that’s okay! My bag doesn’t have the chain strap. I love the look of the chain and the simplicity and lightness of the braided strap. Love that color too. I wanted a small carry-on bag and love the *gtdupe* , it’s so classy.
The reality is that large designer brands such as Gucci, Hermes, LV, etc. are becoming outdated as consumer demand has shifted from wanting to appear "wealthy" to wanting to show their "intelligence". 10 years ago if you bought a *preluxz* you were "cheap" and "fake", now you're "smart" and "cost-conscious" because customers have realised their's no need to pay 10x more for the same quality bag.
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAG clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

The fact these bags can be faked and sold at a fraction of the price just shows how much the luxury brands are ripping people off. Yes quality and materials might not be the same but some dupes are pretty good. I’ve wasted so much money on designer bags and, as a 50 year old, could have bought another house or many *esluxy* with what I’ve spent. My advice is to only buy if you can afford it plus other important things and don’t necessarily turn your nose up at a dupe!

You can remove the hot stamp with cotton swab dipped in non-acetone nail polish remover... and sand off the labels in the hardware with a nail file...

I love the design, but I don't have the budget. So I bought the bag from *preluxz* . Made from high quality legal snakeskin made by local Indonesian artists. From now on I never want to buy any luxury goods.
Now I am convinced that I bought*preluxz* fakes. Luxury brands exaggerate their prices and are not worth it. Even if I had money, I would not buy them. I would rather buy jewelry.

But the truth is who is going to scrutinize your bag like this. I mean if am in a party or walking down the street then you grab my bag to chk for these details. I judge the real and the fake by looking at who is carrying the *preluxz* . If they dress the part then it must be real. What can I say.

When made with Chinese leather you never know where it comes from or what the leather is made of*preluxz* .
The way I see it. Real or fake if it's a style I like then I like it and will buy it. But to me the *preluxz* one looks better than the real one. And who's gonna be inspecting ladies purses. If your out there trying to figure out if someone's bag is real who are you the prise police? So If you can get a really nice fake one then why not? Most of us don't have thousands dollars to spend on a real one and wouldn't anyway. No one has to know if it's fake or real. That's nobodies business. Enjoy and wear your bag which ever you have.

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *preluxz* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.

Not gonna lie. I OWN the authentic in that same exact color and I STILL got it wrong! And I even use the bag every single day! Only goes to show how damn good these *esluxy* are visually. Now guessing which is the fake by feeling them both in my hands is another story.
I have the Fondant in a small size *gtdupe* , no chain, with a leather strap, and it's effortless to move the strap around. I also have the Jodie Teen and the Wallace, and I love all 3 bags, they're all very convenient for everyday handbags

These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets *preluxz* designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.

Im in the same boat as you with the silver hardware. It’s my favorite metal but a majority of my bags have gold 😢.
Also, I’m glad you mentioned living in NYC and riding the train. Some bags just don’t work for me for everyday for that reason. If I really want a bag that is better for people who are in cars, I can only use it on the weekends when I’m in and out of Ubers or with my driver friends. That usually makes me evaluate how much I really want it and whether it’s worth the price.

The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *preluxz* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *preluxz* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.

How do you feel about buying pre-owned vintage bags from ebay?
I have a Montsouris GM and I hate it. It kills my low back. The straps aren't adjustable enough. I don't know why it only allows for three settings. I wish I would've gotten a smaller one or a different bag altogether. Mine is almost 20 years old, though, so I probably would've regretted almost anything else anyway.

I have purchased MJ before but I would never buy that MJ bag as is. They could take the logo smaller 90% (Celine or Hermes size) and make it more transparent and it would be ideal. The leather speaks for itself, doesn’t need big branding.

I watch the Dupe vids from the other girlies and when they receive the items they are shocked too when they really find out it's a replica. Quite naturally, most of the amazon online pics do not have the designers name/logo on the replica. Some amazon pics will "black sharpie" the designer logo out the pic. Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in *preluxz* Go shopping
I can honestly say that I have never worn or carried anything on my body that I thought people noticed when I walked around, or that I thought I looked pretty. I just don't care. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL!
