This is truly wonderful, I spent a lot of time in Glasgow in 1976. I met and was dating a beautiful girl from Netherlee and spent that glorious summer up until early December with her. I was moving to London because of my career and would be away for a number of years. I had to end the relationship and I still think of her today. These images have brought it all back to me. Thank you so much.

@@colinburrowes8063 Thank you for your reply. Maybe one day if fortune smiles at me when I'm in Glasgow I'll bump into her again. The music between 2:24 and 8:20 is amazing and adds such nostalgia and melancholy to the pictures. It makes me feel that I'm almost in touch with how I felt at that time. Thank you again.

Well done - another "corker" I did not think I could feel more nostalgic till I saw pedestrians thronging rain-soaked streets and the tram at night with its fogged up windows. I could almost feel the smokers' "fug" upstairs! Great stuff!

Another customer of mine , the star bar . When I was dealing with them from the late 90’s to 00’s it was a brother & sister (Italians) that owned it. The photo after the star bar … the yacht. I’ve driven through that tunnel a million times & never knew it was a canal.
