KIA SOUL Diesel Fuel Filter Replacement

How to replace the diesel fuel filter in a KIA SOUL 1.6 CRDi 2015 model.
And most importantly, do not smoke while replacing fuel filter ;)

I want to do this on my ceed, location is pretty similar. Doesn't look that hard to do , the lack of space and location of the filter is probably the biggest issue here. Thanks again, great video !

It's not necessary to remove all this, by removing the 3 nuts the disconnecting pipe and wire it will come out past the ecu & battery

Мужики колечко под датчиком топлива какого диаметра или может артикул есть. Не могу ни где найти, а фильтр воздух сосёт, моё сильно изношено, там ещё второе где то стоит тоже на силикон сажал.

Hi ! I have the same Fuel Filter system on my Hyundai, after a fuel empty I get a problem : my car get air and it's start hard(mor exactly in 4-5 seconds) What should I do ? Change the fuel filter? So how can I get air off? Because I want to start my car easy.
Another problem is sometimes my car start's and after 10 seconds stops, all of this after a fuel empty.

airlock. air must be expelled.
but, maybe the filter is counterfeit. will have to be replaced.

Hi...I have to get out and use the pump on top of filter a few times before I start my soul 2 or it refuses to start......any ideas......

When it well very hard, stop pump & try to start the engine.

@@Mayson_Hillmayer hi Vito thanks for reply...what I mean is I cannot start my kia soul normally at any time.....each time I want to use vehicle I have to pump the pump on top of filter until its hard and then it starts OK but it will not start normally ever if I don't pump filter first.... any ideas...

@@shaunswain9546 the pump allows air to pass through. you need a new pump or restore the tightness.

schade, dass ausgerechnet die Zeit zum entfernen der Schlauchverbindung( diese werden durch druck auf die blauen Stellen gelöst) fehlt. Ansonsten noch der HInweis: den Wasserwarner nur Handfest anziehen sonst gehts schnell kaputt...

So you don't need to bleed the air out just connect up both fuel lines and pump until you feel resistance? I thought the pipe sticking up was to bleed it 😂

That is a very tedious job. I have a diesel soul and will probably take more care not to get dirty fuel in the tank and to not have it go below 1/4 so no particles at the bottom of the tank to go to the filter.
