Apolagies for this big block of text, but I think it's relevant! The quick capture idea is super useful, I ended up making it a synced block so it can appear in most of my other dashboards for easy access. I had built something similar to the bookmark manager, and I had a few features that I thought you might be interested in! I added tags for things like "Article", "Resource", "Inspiration" etc., so I can see bookmarks categorized for what their purpose is. I also added a status for "Inactive", "Queue", "Active", and "Obselete". Inactive is where most bookmarks sit, just waiting for me to browse or do something with them. Active is for bookmarks I'm actively referencing or ones relating to topics I'm using for research so I can quickly see all the resources I've been using. Queue is basically a reading list, so I can come back to interesting articles. Obselete is for bookmarks that have served their purpose and I no longer need, and I have a view in my Daily Review page that shows all the obselete ones for me to move into an archive. Another thing I found useful and pretty nice-looking as well was to create a gallery for a databse called "Subpages". There I store my Daily Review page, a page that shows my spaces, and spaces for more details views on my tasks, notes, and bookmarks as wek as my book tracker, media watch-list, and a couple other things. I put the view just below the quick capture, so it serves as a nice sidebar that can lead me to everywhere else I commonly go from my dashboard. I do have one problem that I'm wondering if you could give some input on? I'd love it if I could assign items in the bookmark database to items in my notes database, and be able to present linked items inside the notes. I'm not sure if this is possible with notion, maybe some sort of database linking and a template for new notes that includes that view? Edit: Also, I plan to donate or buy a template or two the second I'm able to, I'm just currently a pretty broke student trying to move out so money is very tight haha. But I've been able to learn a lot from your videos, and I really appreicate that while you sell your templates, you're still willing to give away the "trade-secrets" so-to-speak.
Hey, thanks for adding so much value! This comment was super insightful. As for linking to you notes, have you tried using the relation property to link bookmarks to you notes, then add a view that groups the bookmarks based on Notes or vice versa (notes grouped by bookmark). Just a thought… it would be a bit overkill for my use case though.
@@ProductiveDude Thanks for the response! I think that would definitely work, I've actually never used a relation, but it looks like now might be the time to start! And yes 😅 I think a few things I've done have been a little overkill, I just figured I'd throw any features that sound nice into my workspace, and then if they don't prove to be helpful I can always take them back out. Thanks again.
Shoot me an email... I'm working on improving the template and looking for feedback. I'm willing to spend some time with you 1-on-1 over zoom. hello@productivedude.com
Checking the box is easier for anyone on any platform. I’d rather not search for the pin emoji every time I want to pin something especially on certain devices that make it difficult to add emojis. The checkbox option is universal. At the end of the day it’s just an aesthetic choice. :)

Is it possible to open multiple bookmark links with one click in Notion? Just like in Chrome right click -> Open All (3) ?
Very cool
Thank you!
Hi, I like everything you teach for Notion. Can you make a tutorial for planner like Meal Planner. Thanks in advance.
Thank you! By the way, I did make a meal planner tutorial, you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/c6ToEEzQAcQ/видео.html
Hi Carter, I see where you say that the formula will be in the description but I don't see it. How do you get the heart in the formula? Thanks!
if(prop("Favorite?") == true, "❤️", " ")
@@ProductiveDude Thank you, Carter. That worked fine.
@@barryvideoyt thank you for reminding me
How to get Special Characters (heart) at 5:40. I right-click, but the table to select is not displayed.
Yah it’s a MacBook feature I think. Or just look it up on google and add “copy paste” on the end of your searches
Why use a formula for the pin emoji instead of just having the 'favourite?' column as text and adding a pin emoji instead of checking the box?
Checking the box is easier for anyone on any platform. I’d rather not search for the pin emoji every time I want to pin something especially on certain devices that make it difficult to add emojis. The checkbox option is universal.
