“Invasion of Gypsies” LMFAO 🤣 of all the reasons for why it’s so cheap, I did not see that coming. Oh man, she’s either brave or plain insane.
Wait … I am originally from Romanian ( in US for 30 years ) and we have a lot of Gypsies . I am sorry but if we talk about the same Gypsies I would be very cautious buying there.

@@Karl__Pierre this person is referring to European gypsies that travel outside of their cities and pickpocket people. It’s a known art in Europe some of these thieves make a tremendous career out of pickpocketing people on subways and other areas so when he’s referring to gypsies, it’s not like the gypsy Kings. I remember traveling to Spain in Barcelona and everybody told me not to leave anything in my rental car.
Gypsies are a huge social problem in Spain. They usually don't work, they deal drugs, don't mix outside their circle of gypsies and often steal. This is my own personal experience after 11 years in Spain. I had to rescue 3 pedigree dogs that gypsies stole, then showed off for a few weeks then left them to starve and die of thirst and over exposure. After I and a Spanish friend got them to safety (one died) we were harassed and threatened for months by gypsies. I wouldn't take property in a gypsy neighborhood for free. This neighborhood looks very bad to me as there is no property maintenance, another gypsy trait.

Nice. It has just enough to support itself as a town and close to 2 coast and 2 large cities less than an hour away. I think it's well located.

Great episode, i follow Nichol and she inspired me to buy property in Spain plus i love Spain. I bought in Torrevieja amazing sea side city with a lot of potential as the whole city continue to grow and a lot of money spent to improve. Also a lots of real estate where you can find deals.

I also do old home restoration and rentals for over 30 years. Love restoring and creating. A lot of people don't get it.It's ok I do my own thing like you. Did you sell all of your holdings in US? GREAT OVERVIEW of different types of properties, prices and what needs to be done. GREAT job!
No I still own and haven't made the move yet. Currently I float between Florida as my base and the other countries I visit here.

I haven't bought in Spain yet to be able to answer that. I'd imagine the bureaucracy kicks in with Mortgages. Cash deals typically are smooth

I have 2 plots for sale 9.500 euros with 170 olive trees in production, you can build a 200m2 house too, 20,000m2, the other is land 12,000m2 for 7,000 euros. Both are within 2km of each other at Maella Aragon.

Is Spain a hotter climate than the islands of Italy or other comparable parts of the mainland areas of Italy?
Depends where. Valencia weather might be similar to Georgia or South Carolina weather. Mild winters and palm trees. But if you go futher south it's more warm. In all south of Spain is similar to Sicily in weather and the north more like northern Italy.

@@Karl__PierreYou should educate yourself about gypsies. It's a nightmare to live anywhere near them. I have been in Spain for over a decade. I wouldn't take a property in a gypsy neighborhood for free. Don't lead your viewers down a dangerous path to misery with your lack of understanding of the gypsy problem in Spain.

Why not mention Capital gains Tax @ 21% and no allowance for non Resident. Different story if a permanent Residents

@@Karl__Pierre Very difficult to make a profit from Property in Spain 🇪🇸 with all the Taxes involved. If a person breaks even I would call it a good move. Why not highlight the reality of House purchase and selling. Buy and sell looking at 35% with all taxes and Lawyers and Estate agents fees. I tell it as it is not a fair tale story
