Built this about a week ago. I broke the small wheel but luckily it comes with a spare.

I finished building mine. I love the look. I'm pretty sure I assembled correctly, sanding, waxing accordingly. Unfortunately, it cranks a few frames, lights up, but won't allow me to continually crank. I'm afraid to force it.

Retro-projector and yes it can run backwards (which is what retro means in the term Retro-rocket).
I got this as a set but its hardly stabke and page 3-5 are nearly impossible and frustrating and fall apart instantly its too frustrating to build probably a great set just very complicated and damn neer impossible to build
Is there a posibility to create your own tapes using digital videos?
what's the size of the film and the image size? I would like to shoot some 35mm slide film.....

well I have it a long time ago and when I try to actually play it, it was so blurry

Yes
have one this week started t build it is nibble in places but the problem i found now putting in the small unit with a bulb with three wires are really flimsy and now all three wires have come off Sent email see if can get the part ( the unit with the handle for creating power)
I ended up gluing parts to give it more stability- got it almost to the point of putting the film attachments and the LIGHT stopped working! Everything is lined up, sanded, waxed, and flowing -- wanted to have this done for a gift and now it does not work. Any suggestions?
is this in metal mode??
I broke one of the pieces , if there any good suggestion now?
Hi, I just buy this Vitascope, I just read the assembly instructions and It says that “due to legal rules of some countries, the wax and glue are not offered” so I was wondering what kind of wax I need to find because is not specified. Thank you!

Hey it would be cool if you could send me a new film tape because when I was putting the tape on I took all of the protective stuff off on accident and I think that’s why it isn’t moving
You're supposed to take off the protective coverings. Did you wax the right pieces?
have you check the mechanism with
Maltese cross (geneva cross)? or the loading of the film if you had done perfectly it should move.

The designer of Vitascope gave me a gift. I couldn’t assemble it because all the iron axes do not stay in knots and fall out, it is written on the box without glue, but it's a lie! I was very dissatisfied with this company, the quality of the products immediately shows how they relate to their customers. I don’t recommend anyone!

The point of the wood is to make it environmentally friendly, plastic would just add to a growing amount of rubbish that will be discarded.
