I wanna start making music but I don’t know where to start I was wondering if you can make a vid showing what recoding equipment I would need I already play guitar
@@plex3yy26 sure, maybe these videos can help to start, this one: ruclips.net/video/hNoZt5-kra4/видео.html and this one: ruclips.net/video/CbYJRK9BB98/видео.html
Thanks for doing this with proper singing not the dithery robot noise . I see there’s a user option for scale so I could set say mixolydian or the relative major . Thanks , thought I’d have to buy Antares .cant wait to try it .
When the transposer is in the scale of Phrygian how do you set your pitch corrector now to record, when there is no Phrygian on the scale of the pitch corrector.
i really enjoy your tutorials but i have one pet peeve why do you need back ground music when our full attention should be on your words and demonstrations other that that, great video! 😁
Great videos, love 'em, thanks Charles! I was wondering can the key be set in autotune by section/region? E.g. for when the song modulates up a half-step partway thru?
If you look closely, you'll see Mono was the only option he had. And the reason is that the track it's being applied to is a mono track. While your mix may be stereo, often the individual tracks you're working with are mono. Common exceptions might be electric guitars or keys that are tracked in stereo.
I don’t understand… How can somebody record a song and not know what key they’re singing in. Or what key the musicians are playing in. Or what key your fake instruments are playing in? It just doesn’t make any sense to me. When I write a song the very first thing I figure out is the key.

I'm curious as to why you're setting to Phrygian? Could you not get the same result with choosing major or minor?
Hey, question...
Why tune the auto tune to A# minor when in the display above it says your song is in F# major?

What about recording with pitch correction going in?

yes, learn about automation
How do you manually edit the pitch notes of your vocals?
flex pitch
Curious as to why you selected “mono” on the pitch corerection plug in VS stereo.
Thanks

Has anyone ever told you that you sound just like Jake Gyllenhaal?
I don’t think I’ve got that one before but I like his movies!
now i can't unhear it
How do you "Render" a small section instead of having it run the whole time. Make sense?
yes you can bounce region in place
👍

Some pro songwriters don’t know the key either but they’re so good with their ear that it doesn’t matter
A sharp minor 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You’re kidding me right? You’re literally playing background music while trying to teach audio? You better think hard and long about that.
Jesus get some acoustics in your room, you mixes must sound rough as rats! Reverb everywere
For fucksake turn off the music when you're explaining something important, I want to listen to YOU
If you don’t know what key your song is in, you shouldn’t be producing shit. Good video though.
Thanks for watching
So people shouldn’t try to learn something that interests them. Man, you’re so cool. You should do videos on how to be as cool and edgy as you are.
I hate fckg autotune!
Why? Even just a tasteful amount?
