Hello. I'm presently sailing on the Scarlet Lady heading to Barcelona. Of course, I'm having a great time as always on Virgin. There is a great crowd, and it seems like everyone is having a great time. They have a lot of activities to keep you busy, but you have a lot of peeps that chill out by the dock house and other areas of the ship. The entertainment is top notch as always. I'm enjoying my DBE perks, such as the premium wifi that cost 325.00 for the entire sailing. The wifi service has been great so far, even in the middle of the Atlantic. I wish I could give more details about the sailing, but I would be texting for a while. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I got a great ‘lock it in’ rate for an insider cabin in January.. a $200 bar tab got me a $50 bump up.. My 3rd cruise.. Looks like I’ll need to ask around onboard about other benefits.. 👍
I remember Never Sleep Alone! I saw it cos I went on the very first VV sailing ever from Portsmouth UK back in August 2021!! And they gave us lifetime ‘Deep Blue’ status for life and loads of other extra perks for being a ‘Sea Blazer’ (one of their first passengers). They really look after people who went on the first sailings from UK and later Miami. Where you say about reservations, I had to get up at 5am instead of midnight cos of time difference but I got the reservations I wanted phew!

Being able to book dinner reservations 45 days before your sailing has been in place for a while now. Has something changed? I was able to do that last year when sailing. I'm also curious about the changes to Bar Tab. Is that only for new bookings? I still have several MNVV's that I purchased in 2023 that have Bar Tab with them. My 5th VV is May 29 - Fire and Sunset Soiree on Valiant and 6th on Sep 23 on Resilient - English Sights and European Delights.
Yeah some of the info she shared isn’t new or going away. Stuff was already happening in 2023, at least on my December cruise. Bar tab isn’t going away either. I booked an August sailing in March and got a $100 bar tab and $200 sailor loot.

I booked in April & the website offer told me I would get $250 sailor loot, but my travel agent said that was discontinued. Then I saw your video about bar tab & realized that this is gone , although it still appears on my app & on the website. Seems like a little bait & switch. I booked 2 staterooms & paid for 4 travelers & not 1 of us can get the onboarding part done. Won’t take a picture, won’t let me upload travel docs & now I’m concerned that it may not take reservations. Not a pod way to start.

Jason, Quick question, you scheduled the Aug 30, 2024 A Virgin Celebration Voyage (Miami) for me back in like Feb before these changes were announced. That voyage included a 150 bar tab from Virgin with another 150 from you, I assume when payment to Virgin is complete. How do these changes affect that voyage? I have to complete payment by May 2, so as I understand it, I can still make limited changes. Is there anything I / you / we need to do? I am new to using a Travel Agent so please be patient.

Does Virgin have a customer service number or an email?
It's only on new bookings that the bar tab isn't offered. If you booked prior to April 1 they gave you a bar tab, you're safe!
