im a returning golfer after 15 years away, i must say, everything you have said in all your videos, is so simple to follow, when i had lessons before, it was all positions and hip turns, nothing about leg pressure. i am now hitting the ball better then i ever had, will be ordering the training aids, would love to book a lesson, but it's too far for me to travel, but will look forward to using the training aids once ordered.
Marcus, once again you somehow give me exactly what I need, when I need it. Recently, I upgraded my irons set and found that I had a bit more trouble launching the long irons. After your demonstration in this video of how the ground force vector moves with you as the board tips back and forth, I had my answer. Now I don't move off the ball as much, giving me a better chance of placing the low spot in front, and the counter-force at the release point almost automates the sweet spot connecting to the ball. It feels like cheating. I'm now experiencing the most pure contact I've ever had with long irons, and every other club for that matter. Thanks again, Marcus. You make all other golf instructors look like charlatans. Okay that sounds harsh, but what I'm actually saying is that traditional golf instruction needs to be phased out and replaced with GRF instruction! Even your student in this video was spewing a bunch of jargon at the beginning. Things that he heard from traditional instruction were giving him misconceptions about what makes the swing work properly. It should be a crime to teach golf any other way than your way, Marcus!
Always amazing how GRF can explain the mechanics of a golf swing without trying to put you into static positions and seeing the results of said explanation. With the right knowledge of a good golf swing and letting our bodies move naturally without much thought or control except where we want to ball to start, we end up with a darn good golf swing that is unique to each of us. Brilliant. Cheers.
Incredible video. Feels like it goes back to the ZEN basics with the 1, 2, 3 movement that gives you the trigger. Thats one of my fundamentals i work on and seen great improvement. Keep up the great work! 👏
Marcus , You said it , you have to allow the arms to be softer , to get the ground forces kick in . Most don't have a free finish of the arms over the shoulders . Golfers way to tight. Stick the good finish , your have swings having power and accuracy . Now what do you have in the shoe department ? True Links any good ? Payntr shoes ? Other ?
Really Nice, Personally I trigger with the forward press of the body prior to the club being soled behind the Ball. I pretend as if I am fielding a ground ball coming from my left side. I basically go out to catch the incoming ball and then absorb the balls energy into my motion.
Another excellent video. I only have one question. At the 'pop' stage, do we still feel like we have to swing the arms forward or does the pop automatically throw them away from us?
My experience after a lesson with the brilliant Danny Bursztyn the ‘pop’ or spring up with the left leg creates the downswing. The arms and the club react (follow) the extension of the lead leg. The hardest part in my experience is trusting this after years of swinging with my arms. When you get it it’s a great feeling with a lovely ball flight as a result but it takes time. Persevere. As Marcus says in the video we have to exorcise the urge to swing the club with the hands and arms.

Awesome ! Makes me want to see Marcus again for more lessons 😎
Come to Florida PLEASE or teach someone here your method! ❤
@@scottharvey6588 Just need a venue Scott and we'll be there 👍
@GRFGolf I'm CONFIDENT we can find a venue. I know a couple pros in the Orlando area and I'm sure it would be a win/win
Pure brilliance.
What a fantastic hit on the ball, went like a Rocket flight. What distance was the ball travelling, what a transformation.

Great stuff as always I need to get my arms loosened up maybe you could do one of your individual videos on how to get the arms loose thanks
Love it 🏌🏻♀️❤️❤️
Lovely elegant swing……I want one 😂
Brilliant

As a senior golfer you are advised to flare out your left foot about 30 ˚ How will this affect this ”trompolin” movement?
Since I use the "Sequence" my swing is easier and I gain in power and regularity ;)
Awesome 👍
