    Thank you so much. This was so clear and helpful. I get a PICC line next week for antibiotics. As a widow, I was a bit worried how I would do it on my own. You inspire confidence. Thank you so much. You are amazing. You are a light with a beautiful smile. Bless you!

    You just forgot to show two clamp and a clamp in between. You have to unclamp the anabiotic to let it flow once you put it on. Thank you very much for your video. It was great.

    It does help me a little but I notice air bubbles in my IV is that normal. It doesn't always do it but have a 30-minute ampoule antibiotics and sometimes it just send through some air

      @LifewithaVent  3 года назад +1

      Hello. Ideally, there will be no air in the IV line. However, sometimes a small amount of air will get into the line. A small amount air bubbles is ok. If you notice a lot of air or if there seems to be a lot of small air bubbles, consult with your pharmacist, nurse or doctor.

    Why do you have a ventilator?

    I noticed you got the air out of the two saline and the heparin, but what about the antibiotic itself?

    • @LifewithaVent
      @LifewithaVent  2 года назад

      Hello. Thank you for your question. There should not be any air in the antibiotic syringe. You should be able to connect the syringe to your IV line and infuse it.

      Ok thank you so much! You’re video was very thorough and easy to understand. My 78 year old father just began his home IV today and it’s very stressful to say the least, but I’m hoping he’ll get the hang of it soon. He’s not as sharp as he used to be but we will have your video ready to play for him at home and that should be a great help. Thanks again!
