@@shugshug7723 i found the motorized surfboard controls to be horrid in comparison too...those up/downhill surf levels were not fun to get all boxes. I'm yet to do polar levels though.
@@shugshug7723 I think the problem is they all use the same base movement for vehicles. The jet board doesn't seem as bad because you can move in 360 degrees but everything else feels like it controls the same minus 360 movement which is both lazy and stupid game design

I grew up with the games and mastered them, 4 is easily the hardest one, mainly because of the sheer amount of crates to collect, the masks AND the stages are long as hell. And I’m LOVING it so far.
Crash 3 Warped was one of the first games I played,, and was what got me into gaming. I am so glad Toys For Bob was able to make this, and I hope Activision does not screw this up.

Played the original crash on my replay of Uncharted 4 😂 for 2 minutes and was hooked. I kinda missed it as a kid so I think might hop on this one at some point
I grew up with Crash Bandicoot. It was one of the first games I bought when I first got the PsOne. I played the original trilogy and CTR, and then stopped. I never liked the other games, I own Wrath of Cortex, but I've never finished it. I started playing this game yesterday, and I feel of the gameplay sometimes, more stiff compared to the original trilogy, it took me a while to get used to it, but still, I'm loving this game so far, a worthy successor I think.

But Miss Tron!!!!!!!!! Do you remember the Hess gas stations? They sold Crash 3 toys and I don’t know if the Toys”R”Us ones were the same but the Hess ones were BAD! you couldn’t even get them out of the package without them completely falling apart

This game has been kicking my ass lol 😂 but honestly I’m having a blast with it I grew on the originals this is a worthy sequel to the original trilogy. Also I love the channel Jake and the gameranx channel as well. I tell everyone I know who’s into gaming that these 2 channels hands down are the best for gaming news . Keep it man. Big Crash Fan, I though I was above average on Crash considering I did everything on the first 3, full 100% 105% you name it. Even WoC I did 100% even with all the vehicule that didn't make this game fun. Like you, I grew up with Crash and I'll be honnest, I don't think I would love this serie that much if Crash 4 was the first game I would have played if I was 4 years old. Holy shit this game can be really difficult at time. I'm on my way going for 106% of this game, but considering all the hidden stuff there is, it'll take a good month I'm not kidding. Also, Stormy Ascent is a joke compared to Cortex Castle. This level actually felt like a Super Mario Maker level where the devs went crazy about everything they could throw at you. I love it.
With how big a fan of Metal Gear you are, we already know you were a Playstation kid; I got hooked on Metal Gear with the MGS demo on a Pizza Hut disc, and haven’t found series to replace it since.

This was the first platformer I ever played. It was maddening but soo rewarding when you finally get though those hard ass parts. I distinctly remember riding a tiger as coco through like a Chinese esque bridge/area. And many ice levels lmao
I’m traditionally horrible at platformers but this looks fun. I’ll still probably wait for it to go on sale, I have way too many games to play or finish already 😅🤣🤣
Me i still cant decide wether ps5 or the xbox. My brother passed away last year and we are giant playstation fans. I cant seem to bring myself to a playstation. Im switching to the xbox for a new experience but i really dont know about xbox exclusives and i could only barely afford one console.
I can't say enough good things about this game! My one slight criticism which is more with marketing than anything else is that I feel pretty much every dimension was spoiled (even parts of the final level were in one of the trailers). Would've been nice to have at least one dimension which was a surprise and not expected.

Waiting for a price drop because I just pre-ordered Dragon Quest XI S... Gaming might be an addiction of mine, but I can control myself *sometimes*.
I feel like this is a very casual honey moon take on the game. Crash 4 is bull shit hard, don’t kid yourself man. The enhanced shadow under Crash is not just good for less experienced players, it’s basically needed period. The game has really difficult depth perception and the game has a lot of BS trial and error difficulty. And that’s not even going into getting 106 percent. The game is a pain in the ass even just beating it normally without all the gems. But it does look good and can be fun if you turn your patience all the way up.
So if a person who grew up with crash just like me and not into whatever it became later on days this is the crash sequel we needed after 3 then I’m convinced.

This game was brutal in some of the final levels late in the game. Other than that this had that classic crash feel which I really liked .
