@@lilcuz3638 I was wondering about the whole over vrr cuz I go to the ps5 pro settings and it says my tv doesn’t have it. Should I ignore that or do I need to turn something on ?
The last PlayStation I got was a used PS3 last year. The games were dirt games and really cool. Apart from that, I have a Switch, which some have said has comparable graphics to the PS3 and it obviously allows me to play unique games not available to the competition. That said, I was lucky to land a preorder for the 30th Anniversary edition. I purposely skipped on the PS4 and this PlayStation Pro device will be my first PS5 experience. It was expensive, but since I was never an early adopter to the PS4 or PS5, I see my preorder as a “bargain”. I’ve already started ordering PS4 games that are stuck on that platform because they’re dirt cheap. I’m going to patiently wait on purchasing PS5 pro enhanced games until Black Friday.
@@matthewwilliams6200 doesn't quit beat it I think. It's last year's model and comparable to the LG C3 I think. But, it's pretty good and cheaper than the C4. The S95D is this year's model and comparable to the C4 I think.
My worry about the lg c4 unless you’re willing to shell out more cash for the g4 is the brightness in game mode. When I heard it dimmed that was a buzz kill for me so I chose the s90d this time. I’ve always had Sony TVs and they have been solid so I’m a little worried about going with Samsung lol. But $2k for a 77inch s90d was a great deal for me.
I am told by many that the LG C4 in 42" is the best to pair with the PS5 Pro and the new M4 Mac Mini Pros etc. I am installing all of this now to see if its true...
Both my LG C2 and my friends LG C2 bought at separate times in separate states both started having dead columns shortly after warranty expired, neither one of us will get another LG. My LG then started shutting down about 30 seconds after startup. My friends is at least still working with the dead column.
You must have gotten a bugged TV. Mine is amazing and works beautifully. Never buy without warranty. LG is a great brand you just had shit luck. OLED panels do inevitably burn out and should be replaced every 2-3 years depending on use.
I have two 55 inch tvs. C9 and CX and neither have given me any issues. both still perfect. One runs a PS5 and the other Series X among other random consoles connected. So they get plenty of use. Next TV is 77 inch G4.
These types of issues are why I've always chose Samsung (flagship) led tech over OLED. Both my 75" q8fn 2018 and my 85" 8k mini qled look OLED good and I'm not worried about them lasting or burn in. I've fallen asleep or left the house even with a static image on screen for hrs with zero worries. With these TV's you'll want to upgrade to newer tech long before anything happens to them.
That's a hot button question for some unfortunately. But yes, you'll see a difference on some, maybe many, games. The answer to whether that difference is significant enough for you is subjective. It'll pretty much look like the better looking graphical option (maybe a lil better) with the frame rate of performance mode in games. How big your tv is and how far away you sit will effect how noticeable it is.
Can you help me? I want to buy a tv but i'm really worried about the bad performance of the LG C series in hdr gaming, which significantly lowers the brightness in game. I feel like the samsung s90c/s95c is better with the same price, What do you think?
