This means that you’re going away from the creative intent and changing these setting on a certain scene, could look bad in other scenes. It’s a never ending thing. According to HDTVTEST, those settings should stay like they are, it’s the most balanced picture.
Personally, I prefer knowing that the picture is original, how they intended it to look. By changing settings, I’ll never be content with them, in different games and scenes.
@@alexromanescu4665 in-terms of ”artistic intent” as it is called I personally care about it alot, I have my tv professionally calibrated but I at the same time just use that as a set point. I worked as a tv calibrator so I do indeed know what I am doing here… but… it isn’t anymore what the creators intended yeah that is true. However most people don’t care about that, they just want there OLED tv to look better, in my opinion this is better. My Game Optimizer has a more overboosted contrast kinda look and my Filmmaker mode is as accurate as possible so I like to switch between the two depending on the content 😎👍

What's pleasing to my eyes are deeper blacks, brighter highlights, more vibrant and saturated colors. Sure calibrate your TV to be as accurate as possible as your starting point, but then from there adjust black levels and colors to what is pleasing to your eyes. Whats most important to my visual experience is a picture that looks good to my liking. If I go to a restaurant and they bring me a bland steak with no flavor, I'm not gonna enjoy that no matter how much that was the "artist's intent"! If the intent is mediocre to me, then I'm gonna add some salt to it, might need some steak sauce to get it to my liking. 😂
Dame goes for PC, use 4:4:4 and limited in nvidia/amd settings control panel. Dont use RGB full due to its no point as most games to not support it neithet does windows 11. If you use full rgb, the brightness looks more washed out than higher.
@@damienmty3954 sorry man but DTM with Black and White stabilizer is vastly superior. Most games are not made with HDR in-mind and for those games these methods inject more information for the console to play with. It looks better and handles the same. HGIG is best ”WHEN” it works.

So zero for black n white and -5 for fine tune? I move my current settings but I’m getting color banding and curious if this will help (i used HGIG) cause dtm on for me does look better to be honest how ever way harder to calibrate and get all the games looking good and on some games it’s overly bright .
I have a question about the LG C4, specifically the 42'' model, since I would like to use it as a monitor for my PC. Is it true that when the 144Hz mode is activated, the brightness drops significantly? Or is there another reason why the brightness decreases so much? People say that when it's connected to a PC, the brightness drops a lot, and it's quite bothersome. Thank you so much for your content!
@@Aaronsitooo I think its a 42” panel issue, it doesn’t happen on my C4 77”. But honestly I have no idea, because I don’t own that Panel size so I cannot do any testing to figure out the why the bug is happening.
Hey there. From what I’ve read and seen online, the 42 and 48 inch LG C4 don’t get as “bright” as the larger sizes…..however if you make the changes recommended by everythingps5pro, then the difference is not that significant. It’s not because of connecting to PC that brightness is not as bright, it’s just these two sizes are less bright than the larger counterparts but from ppl that have used both, it’s not significant to worry about. LG did this for a reason, and with the video adjustments , especially the black and white level balances recommended by EverythingPS5PRO, you will have an incredible visual experience 😊

Fine tune dark areas is grayed out for me. I am in game optimizer picture mode in tv as well. Also the game dashboard doesn’t allow me to switch between modes. Between vrr and low latency is grayed out………..?

@@Phoenix-zm5gv impossible without ruining black level detail alot, I touch on this topic in the video and its not possible. You need black and white stabilizer for this look to work.
@ VRR G-Sync is the superior option V-Sync is old school and adds latency and doesn’t work nearly as good. VRR changes hz signal on the tv/monitor to compensate for the fps number, 40fps/40hz so that they match. This makes the image more fluid in motion and looks like higher fps in the end 😁

@@youngangelito22 tv must be limited and PS5 must be limited then black level cannot be above or under “50”. Now make sure that fine tune dark areas are correct on a per game basis and that black stabilizer is lowered accordingly to your own taste… done.

@marcusbengtsson295 oroa sig är något som all gör, men tror det är lugnt så länge allt skydd är på och du stänger av tvn när du lämnar rummet. Du kan alltid ha på Quick Start+

Also on PC, raised black levels can be fixed with RTX HDR or using liliums analysis tools on reshade.

Use the settings that looks best to you, there is no perfect setting. Only what you prefer is best ❤️

Turn on VRR and ALLM and and on Sound Mode select Game Optimizer.
