Ideas that may have sound ridiculous have gone on the successful. Who would think that people would buy cut up jeans. Today they are selling like hot cakes. Almost everyone, at least between the ages of 16 and 40, has at least one cut up jeans. So congrats to the Crazy Goat Lady and others, who are innovators.

Sheep were used for the continual burnt sacrifice, goats were used for the atonement sacrifice for the sins of the people. They were ALL symbols of Christ. Until He could come and die Once for all. All the Tabernacle, Tabernacle furniture were symbols of Christ.
Wiccans are confused like the OT preists who used these rituals as a form of magic to ask YHWH for things. Wiccans today use the name if Jesus as a power word to get things , they even acknowledge YHWH but do not have the relationship. His name is a power word to them. They take God's holy things and twist them into warped meanings.
Goats as created by God are most holy.
