I know not everyone likes it, but I love when Rhett intentionally stops the wheel on Gifticality. Especially if it’s for a cause as timely and important as that one!

Of course the mall gets more people than Disney, one costs little to nothing and you don't need to make a special trip or travel and lodging the other is several thousand dollars after travel and lodging and tickets and food etc and is several days away usually
technically it was just Magic Kingdom with 19million, not the entire Disney World's 4 parks (58million, thanks google), but that is a lot of people just visiting a mall tho^^
At the same time, MOA was the closest place to go to some stores for those in the cities too. I would go there just for Maurices until they built one in Roseville.
I will never be able to walk in the skyway of the cities without thinking I’m a hamster in a tunnel. I love it!
Next time I am going to Target Field, I will be sure to take a hamster tube and chuckle.

Maine - between Memorial Day and Labor Day - insanely busy. LLBean probably gets most of its customers during those 3.5 months.

I feel you on the “my sweat was sweatin’ down there”. The coast of Louisiana is unbelievably hot and muggy. The oppressiveness of the humidity is awful. 🥵 I’ve lived here my whole life and still not used to it. The one thing I want to bring back from vacations…the weather.

I live in Seattle and can’t understand how people can live down there. I’m sure it’s beautiful and the food is great. But the weather and hurricane situation would be a deal breaker for me lol.

Born & raised in South Carolina, but moved to Maine in 2014. Maine has a lot to offer (spring, summer & fall) Beaches that offer sand or rocky cliffs, rivers, lakes and best of all friendly folks. 😀
It's funny how many and how offended people are in the comments about Maine.
Then the simple fact as you've proven, has nothing to offer. The topic is about huge locations, iconic locations, businesses. Which Maine has nothing of. The fact that every offended person from Maine literally has no examples and no locations to offer proves their point. Lakes, rivers campgrounds, trees, beaches....maybe how about not suggest what 80% of all states have to offer.
And the Lobstah! I love chasing the 🦞 around the beaches.
It’s unbearable in the Winter though.

Most Minnesotans avoid MOA. A lot of the traffic is tourism, since it's not only a big mall, but it has a full aquarium and a theme park.
As a New Jersey resident, there is no need to go to Atlantic City. But R&L should tour New Jersey just for our food alone.

I live in north part of New Jersey, outside of NYC. My parents took my brother and I once to AC. They were like never again. I love NJ but AC can take a hike

Have lived in Minnesota all my life. Though, I haven't been to the MOA for about at 5 years or so, and that was around the holidays. In the winter, instead of going to the large mall to shop in the warmth, I go snowmobiling, either around where I live or near Lake Superior.
Still, wow, 40 million! The Minnesota State Fair visitors even has made it over 2 million, and that is only in the 12 days span it happens. The year 2019 has the record of 2,126,551 people. Though, some years it stays above 1 million.
Mall of America is also helped by the fact that it also has hotels as part of the complex, and is pretty much just across the interstate from an International Airport.
it's also free. Been there 4 times in the last few months.
The reason the Great Smoky Mountains National Park gets so many visitors is for the leaf changing season. Lots of tourists come to see the pretty colors

The LL Bean flagship store is so large and has so much going on it is a great place to see once if you are visiting Maine

Link! I worked for the mule rides in the Grand Canyon for a summer and it’s definitely once in a lifetime experience, you guys have to go!
My mom when my sisters and I were little used to drive for a company that would drive coach buses to Atlantic city. We lived in Pennsylvania and she would drive a bunch of older people there. She would take my sisters, dad and myself for free on some weekends. So we would get to hangout on the boardwalk and beach. She would also get free access to the buffets for our family. It was fun time for us kids.
So from someone who grew up 5 mins from Atlantic City my whole life 🙌 Don't go to AC, I just moved from NJ to DE. However the shoutout from link of six flags in Jackson was awesommmeee
I just went to the LL Bean store a few weeks ago! It is crazy big with multiple buildings and can't forget the Ben and Jerry's there too! When I went there was also a fall festival going on with lots of vendors there. Maine is absolutely beautiful!!

There’s Golden Corral which is what I think she was thinking of since it’s similar except it’s serve yourself buffet style but with southern food and other cultural meals as well. I’ve been to both and both are good, it’s about preference.
Best ride at Carowinds is Fury 325. It is an amazing piece of engineering art.

The MOA has people that fly into Minneapolis just for the day or the night and they take the bus from the airport to the mall and back. When I lived in AZ, I knew A LOT of retirees who did this on a monthly basis. It was strange that so many people flew somewhere just to go to a mall.
