I love chasing the bushy tails, early season when it’s still green I use .20 gauge, when leaves are off I use .22lr or .17hmr. Definitely more trigger time than deer season lol.
Intro to new baby! What a plot twist! Congratulations. Would you care to share the recipe for the pulled squirrel? I figured the squirrels were smoked, then left to bake/ boil in the oven with onions and chicken bouillon? How long did you leave them in the oven for? It looked really good.
I thought it was awesome. 1. 2 hours on pellet smoker at 225 2. 1 hour in oven at 250 - I put chicken broth bullion cubes and water over them and they helped keep it moist. 3. Pull it and add the sauce! You could maybe go a little longer in the oven to make it fall off the bone more.
i recently got a bb gun / spring not sure if it will kill anything even at close range but i live in the uk and i dont think i can really hunt anything interesting here
Congratulations on a little one sir Macy follows you in your footsteps and love squirrel cause mad. Squirrel is disgusting. I’m 30 years old and I will not eat squirrel.

Are you hunting a wild ringneck population or a stocked one? My family and I have to go out to some farms in Ohio to do our pheasant hunting.
All stocked...are they wild in Ohio?

Better get use to eating what you hunt here in America food In your local store is about to come to an end
Dipstick won’t pin 😤
didnt succeed? those squirrels alone would last you a couple days
you're joking right? A squirrel on average has literally 100 calories, you'd need 40 of them for 2 days or you are losing weight.
How did you kill the bacon?
