Consistency. Gotta be consistent, this ties in with putting in a shit ton of time. Make 3 songs a week and drop the best one at the end of next week, keep the other 2 in the vault

my biggest problem with staying consistent is beats. i have a hard time finding beats that inspire me or like just match what i need. without the perfect beat i seem to find it hard
Listen to different genres and listen to a lot of artists who are not totally mainstream but easily findable through RUclips ( *insert artists name* + type beat) that match your vibe. And also subscribe to these producers on ytb and the more you look up type beats the more youtube is going to recommend other producers and type beats who are lowkey. Sounds like a lot but that's my way, hopefully that helped in some way 💫

Fr you gotta also be consistent and care of yourself. You might be able to make 5+ beats a day, but one day you’ll get tired and mentally ill. So never forget the simple things of life like health (sports, eating good food) and go to sleep at good hours. Make 2-3 beats/day and focus on your mental health, bc maybe that rn that lifestyle is ok but eventually it might lead you to depression and stuff like that
You should have more likes. Dealt with some heavy mental health issues at the end of 2021. Couldn’t make anything for a long time because of the stress and anxiety. Once I took care of that, I can make a song a day.
It’s funny because just working on my music, observing the industry, and thinking things out, I’ve thought about everything on this list 😂🔥 this advice is fye though. I did the same thing wit Faygo also

heres another outlet that doesnt seem to helpful but actually is, comment of videos, or more specifically, comment on polls, and community posts from youtubers you watch. this especially helps if the community post is from a music channel, maybe answer the question, or start a discussion in the comments, and slide your music into it without being too forward, this helps more than you would think!!!

Practice having a good initial recording, also as you progress practicing occasionally without a pop filter will give you a bit of a loose feel on using a live microphone.
Mess around with your diaphragm, try too use this in place of raising your vocal levels via your daw.

To finally using autotune and noi even being on key LMFAOO to now going to studios and recording at home on FL and putting out catchy songs. QUALITY OVER NUMBERS ALL DAY

@Danny X ion have the best at home studio yet. but what used for a while was really just the software (FL 20), good monitor headphones/speakers (id go headphones first) and a good mic w a foam sound barrier and midi keyboard. I used that for like a year then finally started building the dream stu. didn't get pro speakers till a month or three ago, and I gotta upgrade my mic soon. hope this was helpful.

@@1laaj both solid choices. can’t go wrong with either one tbh. nt1 has a lower self noise so it’ll be slightly better in a room that’s not professionally acoustically treated. look into the Alctron PF8 to help with that tho. acoustic treatment is just as important as the equipment. good luck
