I found a 74 260Z with power everything and automatic for $100 bucks. sheet metal damage is limited to the floor panels and left foward wheelwell. pretty solid car for pulling it out of some blackberry bushes. I belive it has the L26 motor, Trans.. I have no idea. this inspires me to make it as bad ass as I can while maintaining street manners and the amenities already there. Gotta have that exhaust note!!!
While I agree that that O.G. head is the holy grail of L28 heads, it is definitely a pure race part. Maybe one day when I'm making money off my right foot I'll see one in my own Z.

theres a way cheaper alternative in the works to that os gilken head,,the head is going to cost with cams $2,800- $3,500 compared to the os $40,000 head which is a huge waste of cash,,, unvailing next year 2022 around summer,,
Why didn't nissan make more dohc s20 engine instead of sohc. They could have changed the game back in the days. They could have kicked Ferrari asses for the fraction of the price. Nissan really messed up for not making abundant dohc s20 engines 💔

Chris Court they are probably using DOT 5 or better so that’s not an issue but I’m just guessing
That Straight Six has some Big Nuts sounds like a V-8 somewhat.....
At high rpm would cylinders 2 & 3 will start running rich due the the shock tower obstructing air flow?
