    This video includes instruction and also playing along with the duet part. Video #54b will show the overhead view as it is played on the keyboard.

      Thank you for that comment! I love a teachable moment. I write in the finger numbers just in case someone wants to double check their accuracy. It is best to learn to read music by recognizing the intervals (distance between the notes) and learning what that means in terms of the piano keyboard and your fingering. It is also good to learn the names of the notes on the music staff and on the piano keyboard. Learning to play a piece via the finger numbers defeats the purpose of learning to read music. You will certainly find it easier to learn a particular piece of music but you will not learn anything that moves you forward in terms of making music at the piano. If you find you can only learn the pieces I most recently post via the finger numbers, please go to an earlier video (they are sequentially numbered) and learn the intervals first and then how that translates into which keys you play and which fingers you use to play them. You will be much happier in the long run.
