Tear down and maintenance 😅 - sprockets -chain -wheel bearings - clean and regrease all the other bearings - suspension What more 😅. A few addons of course, Scott’s, camel FIX soon and so on hehe. Tower will be fun for sure
Only 10 000, but haven’t been nice to her. I could have done more before bearings and sprockets. But I decided to just have the big tip top for the start of next season
Very satisfied, making a tower is just to have something to do 😅. Seriously, the only downside with the arm, is that when standing up, you have to look down quite far, not optimal if reading roadbook. However, I could put it slightly higher, but the windshield need to have a 1cm spacer then. And you might want it slightly more forward, so a real tower is a solution that I’m happy to work on. Goal is to ride some rallies next year for fun.
Great video as always Marcus, keep up the good work. What are your thoughts on the four-year extended factory warranty they offer you for $1000? Think it’s worth the money?
Thanks man, appreciate it! Might be worth it if we knew shit broke on these, but from what I heard it is no real big scares on the cp2. The question is, what exactly does that cover? If it included the maintanance service, then he’ll yea. But I think it’s a big NO for me.
The Fix Update from Camel ADV about some irregularities with the new brake pedal. Seems some of the units have a sticking pivot assembly. You may want to check the unit after watching this. I think Robert was getting one as well. I have had mine for a week but haven't had a chance to check it out. The RUclips link: ruclips.net/video/v-dtGgBlou0/видео.html Also I have been looking for a Scotts Steering dampener to no avail, where did you get yours? And Uni Prefilter where from? Hey, the rally tower build will certainly be interesting, some trial and error but that will be part of it. When it is finished there will always be that moment when one says" I wish I had done or thought of that", but that's just part of invention. The 30mm fork dampener tool, give us a good look so some of us can build out own out of PVC pipe and maybe some galvanized pipe to make a clamp. Spread the pressure evenly I'm sure will be part of the equation. Marcus, thanks man, you do a great job. Interesting as I have much the same work to do to mine this winter. Stay safe and warm
Yup, seen the “FIX” talk, will check it out. But can’t mount it until I have wheels on the bike 😜. The clamp for the cartridge need to be a square block with a 30mm hole and a slit, or else it will be hopeless to keep still in the wise 😄, a 20mm one is needed too. (you guys will see.
Cool, looking forward to it all!
Eagerly waiting !
Winter "tear down" not really maintenance! Looks chilly there... So stoked to see the Rally Tower!

Looking forward to the build! I thought the announcement was going to be the 48mm front fork kit ;)
Me too 🙈.. maybe next year, I need a sponsor deal “lol”
Looking forward to your Rally Tower project.
Thanks for sharing all this detail, nice work! How many KMs?

Hi Marcus, good vid...what sprocket and chain did you install and what range? i use 15-48.
Standard setup, I bought the kit a long time ago, now I would almost want to try one less in the front
@@allthingsenduro yes, but i didnt get a 14 s. in the front...
Im curious how were you satisfied with the holder/rally thing u made? Are you making the tower because that wasn’t enough or just because you can?
