Hi guys ! So, 2024 Stångebroslaget is a done deal.. Was it muddy, YES ! slippery and ruts everywhere in most of the parts of the track. Perfect conditions out in the open mostly, but it was pretty fun id say, and I learned a lot. 126'th place out of 290 competitors.

Soooo, here we have our 3´d club comp for 2024. We run this one together with the Swedish Military Enduro Championship, same track, 80 minutes of ride time (about 4 laps). I came in 13'th place out of 18, and most of the guys are real veteran Enduro riders with 20 years of experience.. So pretty happy anyways

    The outer stem nut was tight on the rim (the one you couldn't remove by your fingers)? This could rip your valve stem off the tube when you deflate for off road. Lock the nut upwards against the plastic cap of the valve stem to allow for some in and out movement of the valve stem as the tube can slightly rotate relative to the tire.

    Thanks a lot for sharing ! As i know from Bicycles if this works because of the pipe on the inside... imagine sawing a cross in a thin steel pipe (length of your brass axle....inner diameter of the bearing hole) saw about 40-60mm deep and spread the 4 sides a bit. Now you can press the 4 sides inwards to enter the first bearing and hammer the other side out... (no need to hammer the bearing on different angles as this can widen the aluminium hole of the Hub. to get the steel pipe out just pull... To mount the bearings ...two wooden Boards on each side...connected with a long Steel thread and two nuts and just tight them until the bearing is in... Just as an idea... :)

    Hello! How the hell did you get the db killer out with such ease? I got this type of exhaust for my versys 650, drilled the rivet out but then had to put a stick on the intake part of the muffler and bang it with a hammer in order to get it out... Now I put it back in just in order to get the papers for the bike in order but I don't want to remove the muffler again.

    Don’t do this if you had a minor Crash and tweaked the alignment. Way to much work to loosen the center bolt. Just loosen the triple clamp lower pinch bolts, work it, then tighten. If still weird, loosen the upper pinch bolts and work it. Done. If that fails, then you can try the center bolt, but you more then likely bent something at that point.

    Can someone tell me which position on the arm will engage the clutch the soonest ? I find with my std lever and clutch arm i have to pull the lever all the way into the bar for it to fully engage the clutch which is no good when you want to use two fingers and keep the rest wrapped around the bar crushing my fingers ! Also why wouldn’t anyone just use the furthest away setting on the arm for the easiest pull ?

    • @allthingsenduro
      @allthingsenduro 5 месяцев назад

      That would be the hole closest to the shift shaft. So it will bite quicker with less friction zone (heavier to pull lever). If put in the hole for the lightest pull, it will engage clutch at the same time, but it will be dragging for longer before fully engage the plates (long friction zone)

    I do like the homemade chin mount I've got, way prefer the angle and extra stabilisation you get, and you just generally get a good view at all times, even when sitting down. Also like that with the chin mount and the media mod fitted I can talk to the camera and generally get pretty good audio. In the UK you can't have anything camera wise fitted to your body anywhere so you have to put the camera on the bike, so I use a GoPro 360 for those races. I think it's a daft rule, the pros wear GoPros, was re watching the Erzberg rodeo the other day (they tended to be helmet mounted) I think it stems from Michael Schumacher, I've heard that's what did for him, he crashed skiing and it was his helmet mounted gopro that did the damage. Thanks for the insight, interesting.

    • @allthingsenduro

      I go with chin mount every day in the week for ADV riding. Think the helmet mounting can thing is actually in the FIM rulebook too, so not just some Svemo (the Swedish organization) bullshit 😅. I’ll see their point if we had 80’s equipment haha, a 4 kg camcorder ductaped to the side of the helmet 🤣
