About this channel: We are the Smith's. A family of 5, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, a touring country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln and River.

I don’t know the Smith family personally, but I think we need to give a huge round of applause to Granger and Parker’s parents for raising two outstanding men. One day, God will grace Parker with that special person he is meant to be with. Hopefully that person is as amazing as Amber. None of us are perfect, but dang girl, you set the bar pretty high. London and Lincoln are beautiful on the inside and out. Truly inspiring family! You are blessed!

My brother learned to drive a tractor at 10 years old. He was plowing fields at 11. As girls, we also learned to drive a tractor but our time was spent learning to cook, harvest vegetables, can jelly and oddly, kill snakes. We were “city” kids but my parents thought it was good to visit my grandparents farm and learn what hard work would give us. On the rare occasion that I shuck corn now, the memories flood back. Amazing childhood.
It does my heart and soul so good to watch a man teaching and having fun with their children. You always see mom and kids so I love watching Dad! Great job Granger!

I love that your letting your son experience driving. This is, in my opinion, good for the future of getting his drivers license. Being someone who raised her children all in the country and on a small farm., my older two, that already have their license, they did so good on the test! I think it’s because we let them drive at the age of 7/8! You go dad!!! Love your family!!! Much Love from Ohio ❤️❤️
Yes very true I was taught to drive fourwheelers and jet skis at like 9 and it has helped me be a better driver for sure.

You guys are great parents! Thank you for teaching your children a solid work ethic. So many of the young people today feel "entitled" and think everything should just be given to them. Your children will be a huge asset to their generation.
Not gonna lie I immediately went and followed Parker's tik tok. I Love the fact that Granger does things with the kids when he is home, not only are you teaching them life skills but also showing them that you enjoy spending time with them. London will indeed measure potential mates against her Dad. What an amazing example you are setting for them.

I love seeing the gardening. Theres so many different techniques of gardening.
Those jalapeño peppers and banana peppers might cross pollinate and you might have banana peppers that have some kick to them.
Just remember, the snakes are out. Be very careful that Lincoln wears gloves when handling the wood so he doesn't get bit. Good jobs for the kids! Parenting done right!!

I was so excited to see a new video by the Smiths I tripped over my own feet.
I hope you are ok? I know what that's like. I have bad balance due to head injuries so I've slowed way down and try to focus on staying upright when I'm doing things or just walking. I don't let go of my cane or wheelie cart unless I feel stabilized. Then of course there is the problem of my big feet. Lol. I can trip over them without the medical issues 😂🤣😂

Please film as much about gardening as possible I just always kill every plant I touch so it'd be nice to learn a little more about gardening!

I loved it when Lincoln was starting to drive the cart and had his tongue out a little for concentration. I sometimes do the same thing and I'm 68. I also love how you showed London how to plant the herbs. Granger you are wonderful with your kids.

Not in my country it isn't! 😔 I learnt to drive on my parents farm driveway, but was 15. I know that it's great fun, but it does come with some common sense when it comes to parental control and unlike you guys, sadly, not everyone uses that. So many 4 wheelers under child control cause accidents on farms each year. Great to see Lincoln happy! 🌞👍

@@jenniferrae6646 I get that I learned later too I think 16 cause I used to get in trouble but if left that life was hanging out with the wrong people. You just have to make sure you always have a helmet I sometimes don’t and that’s dumb especially on a atv. Anything can go south at anytime but I wouldn’t say it’s dangerous to have them on bikes like dirt bikes and atv when they’re young. Granger will probably have to say it a lot for him to put his Helmet on if he does. They already have a go kart I am 90% when he get older he will want 4 wheelers. Also if your kid is young usually they should wait till the dad comes home to ride with them but once they get comfortable and get good at it is when they usually start gaining more responsibility.
@@stone9882 exactly. Our late Dad built us a go cart and we all hooped it around our front lawn, I think I was 10 and my brothers 12 and 14. Great fun. Our Dad was such a busy farmer, but he took the time out to do that. He was up at 4am and we wouldn't see him again until dinner time.

My dad used to have me help in his garden and teach me things about it when I was little. I love the things I learned from helping and I loved spending time with him helping in his gardens. She will remember that forever.
As a little girl I loved that daddy let me help. It made me feel so grown up. It also gave me confidence because he trusted me to help him with his plants that I knew were so important to him.
You said "All we've been hearing about is babies", but you know we love it!!

So glad to see that the balloon exchange at the end is back. When it didn't happen on Tuesday's video, I was concerned that you weren't going to do it anymore. Both balloons are incredible signs of hope to me. Thank you also for being parents who give their kids chores. A proper work ethic is something sadly missing in our world, and there are few better teachers of life values than work and responsibilities as a youth. We may be able to just give folks fish, but it's so much more important to teach those fishing skills. You never cease to find ways to inspire us with just the simple living of your lives.
My dad had no problem getting us behind the wheel before we were 16. On the farm stays on the farm. So good to see you all. God bless and stay safe 🙏❤💙

My dad taught us to drive his pickup when we were 8! He would pick up hay and I would drive! I could barely see over the steering wheel!! I LOVE that you are teaching your kids to respect a motor vehicle!! Great job Dad!

Granger i LOVE how you are teaching London about digging in the soil and creating something wonderful. My parents didn't teach me, a neighbor did. I taught my oldest how to play in the soil. Went to her house last month and she has 3 plants. not in store bought containers. but ones she replanted. proud mama moment right there!

Love your garden can't wait to see more. To stop your goats from getting their heads stuck get some black tap an some PVC pipe longer then the width of horns. The pvc about 1 inch should work. Then tape it on each side of horn vertically ❤👍🙏🌞🤗

Granger, when we first got our goats, one of them kept getting her head stuck in our fence until my husband took a 2x4 and used it to widen the openings of the lower part of the fence for her. Now she can reach out all she wants and never gets stuck. Also, congrats again on the new baby! We are sooo happy for you guys! ❤️

My dad had us driving his pickup on the farm when I was 10. He would throw out the hay while I drove through the cows. I have the best childhood memories of growing up in the country.
