    I usually don't see artists performing without earpieces, this is actually the first time I notice someone doing it. Either way, this is such a good performance and daaamn that sax... In my opinion, Kendrick is one of the best today.

      Tbh a load of artists aren't comfortable with "in-ears". If you've never sang and heard yourself only through your headphones/in-ears it's really weird as hell for quite a while.

That was apparent in this video, and it had nuthin' to do with Kendrick writing the song. Perhaps he was vibin' the way that he was because of the band...whatever the reason, it was dope.

    Best part is you can tell he's really feeling his music just by his voice and face and I love that! He's by far, one of the best out right now. The whole Good Kid Maad City album is phenomenal!

    Kendrick is the only rapper that my dad and any other late 80's and early 90's grownups can relate to because, he so fresh, and has that back in da day soul. RESPECT!

    I think I've watched this about 15 times....! All the instruments sounded so great and Kendrick is a talent. Didn't slip on any of the rhymes and the band was in sync. So many different people had to come together to make that sound the way it did and they rocked it

    Yeah I wasn't trying to hate on Em or anything. That's just what came to mind first for me as I actually remember seeing that on SNL and being a bit disappointed. I imagine for television they might have made some adjustments that he normally wouldnt do for a live performance. And I havent seen him live so I'm sure you're right on. What I think make's Kendrick's performance stand out so much is because he is on such a big stage, he just did it all himself, no hype man, just live instruments

    I cant lie I prefer the song with just Kendrick.
    Not because of the beef. I just really prefer his voice and lyrics in the song. It flows better too. The way he writes fits the hook better too. Maybe thats just me.

    Eminem lip syncs though, at least on his TV performances. Kendrick is the best I've ever heard to do it without the help of background vocals.
