no wonder why he won a nobel prize this is insanely stacked poetry with literally layers of meaning attached to every single line, if i was drake and i heard this i would have been crushed because not one single beat or line in the song was missed to target at him. kendrick is crazy talented…
The “cell block one” bar has nothing to do with stranger things. Thats literally a prison reference. It’s something the streets understand. Idek how u could reach that far
Even tho I joined the whole beef late, I'm glad I was a part of it. I'm 30 now, but I hope to revisit this comment when I'm 50 cos this is HISTORY!🔥
Best explanation I have heard. Kudos! New Subbie
THANK YOU!!! One of the best breakdowns I've listened to so far!!!
You should cover how Eternity Gallardo and Tanyin Grace Myrick Jackson are 2 of Drake's children that are around 11 years old. I'd definitely get everyone I know to sub
THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS
“Hyphy” is pronounced “High-Fee”

Thanks for the explanation, I understood like 25% of the diss, now things are much clearer .
Let me go listen to the song again, Kendrick Lamar is a prophet
I'm so 90s boom bap that I had no idea this was a diss track. Thanks for the break down.

Because he likes 13 year old girls lololol
The “I see dead people” line is also a direct response to the last line in Drakes “Family Matters”. He literally says “ya dead” at the end 👀 K dot with the quickest clap back of all time 🔥🤯

This is million times better than all Netflix series combined and all the tea at work.
