As someone who often plays Grover I agree but just like his other problem cauterize, often it feels better to just buy Kronos and nimble and what ever defensive item is needed And if there is an enemy skye then you throw your peace sign up and hope the skye does not DELETE your health
The problem with making it immune to caut is that late game the item is doing more healing than most healers even if you do nerf the healing to even 100|100. Every elim is 600 health for the team no matter what. It would probably be too complicated but you could make it so only the person who has the item is immune to caut and then nerf the healing by half. Or make the person who got the kill immune. Either way works and has different benefits
To me reverting back to 'affected by caut' just kills the item, since you when you are killing an enemy 90% you are in a battle with them and they have procced caut on you. And since its 300 Credits base the most likely time you will have Lv3 is late into Round 2 if you rush the item, which by then Caut is most likely at least 70% just making the item less worthwhile to use. I would rather the item ignore Caut and revert to scaling of something like 160/320/480 or maybe even switch it to 6/12/18% of base health which would be a max of 1035 on Yag at 5750, 846 on Inara (2nd highest health tank) at 4700, and 360 for champions with health of 2000. And being strictly base health of that champion it cannot be increased with health cards or items. Also add the feature that it cannot stack as well for obvious reasons to stop overkill non-caut heals.
Chronos increases your healing without the need for a kill. Chronos increases your healing output throughout the entire game. Chronos helps with not just healing, but also whatever your other abilities do, that being survivability or mobility or damage or CC. Chronos isn't directly hurt by Cauterize. The only use case I see for Bloodbath is early game before Cauterize builds up, like an early-game life rip play. But, why would you grab it over Chronos when Chronos does so much more unconditionally? I had this whole comment written out, but it turned rambly. This is a shortened version.
Funnily enough i have found myself buying sentinel for the 450 shield even if enemy don't have slows or knockbacks, specially on flanks ( caspian, zhin, koga, buck..) And i still prefer it it may not be a 900 shield but it's so much better for late game since its unaffected by caut( anti-heal), don't buy it if enemy has more than one person with wrecker it will flop hard... Bloodbath is too expansive for an item that is useless mid to late game even said supports( jenos, grover, corvus, MP pip and so on) lower it's price and make so only half of the portion is effected by caut/anti heal, don't think a 450 uncaut heal with max tier will be broken but will make the item worthwhile
I found bloodbath to be most effective with Grover, Jenos, and Corvus (especially if your pocket buys reju). They absolutely need to reduce the price tho. You can't really rush it early cuz most supps need chronos first while the 2nd item usually for defense or morale boost. Bloodbath is only really good at lv2 and 3 and by the time you reached that point, its already late game where antiheal makes it negligible.
Trying going chronos and hoard at the beginning of the match. If your team isn’t imbicile’s you’ll be able to max your chronos and bloodbath pretty quickly
btw maelstrom grohk gets so much value out of this, i’m unironically a damage grohk main and the change post update is crazy with this item! you should give it a go if you haven’t already
I've always got kill to heal on my healers, but currently I always grab it when I play dredge, or nessa when I go mines with distance increased, or grohk, etc etc. Blood bath heals you and whoever helped assist so I ~feel~ like it's really useful when I'm getting so many assists.
I main lillith and I decided to try this a while back and its insane how no-one on my team dies with the ridiculous amount of healing I can output in combination with the burst heal I get from bloodbath
Bloodbath + Sentinel + Raum Subjenvinte equals = Heal infinity Pretty much makes it so all kills heal you as long if you collect one soul and heal your team Only time I use Bloodbath
I used the old version on Grover and Raum with global soul shard team healing, need to test this one one but I'm not sure it will be still as good on Raum now. 200+ hp true heal because someone killed someone somewhere on the map was great during a fight.
I keep trying Bloodbath but it never seems to actually heal me in game. I'm not sure if it's just not enough healing to make a difference in any exchange, or if it's genuinely not working, but either way it seems like a real waste of credits. Conceptually I love the idea, but actual in game usage seems like I'm just throwing my money down a well lol.
this item is good for almost every healer but there are some who don't benefit much form it which are basically the burst heals or the heals that don't last for long Pip, ying, seris and corvus, I think corvus' mark doesn't guarantee assists like jenos' mark correct me if I'm wrong tho (and I know during ying's whole ult it's good but if it's only good on an 8s ult span then it's pretty much not better than morale or chronos) and then the best ones to benefit from this are: Jenos, grover and lilith (lilith bc swarm and hex is constant healing, specially hex lasting for a long duration and she also benefits from this bc she regens her own health too) (Edit): Maybe buying this on seris isn't that bad.
@@nml5317 well the thing is they only heal for less than a second and you need to constantlu be healed, ying's healing is bursts except her ult so unless she shorts the enemy she wont get the effect
@@stan_carolinepolacheck I get the heal from bloodbath enough while on LE and with the other two dmg talents even more frequently because I am healing plus shooting. Maybe you couldn't heal at the right timing
@@stan_carolinepolacheck pfft when I got heal while not killing means a teammate did it, so whenever I got bloodbathed on heal a teammate got it too Is it so hard to understand? I wonder how many assists you get in a match to not hv bloodbath works on ying?????
i think it’s fine i had two matches where no one picked a healer but we all bought bloodbath by no means a substitute but it worked (always pick a healer)
Bloodbath isn't bad at all. The problem was just how good other items in comparison. Life rip are bonkers right now while haven and Veteran is kinda mandatory to buy.
I've been getting Bloodbath as my 3rd item with rei and its been fine, I know in a video you said she is a low elim healer but I think that really depends on playstyle because I average 40ish elims per match with her
I honestly prefer when individual cards, items, talents, and abilities are simple. Complexity often comes from the interaction of many simimple things. My point: Revert Bloodbath to Kill to Heal. Also make Sentinel only give you shields and restore Resiience.
Yep, had a Lian in a previous match that had Bloodbath and she had a number for healing done in the endscreen. Which, as Lian has no healing ability whatsoever, was definitely procced by Bloodbath.
Your teammate playing Torvald in that second match seemed to notice being stunned out of his ultimate. The same thing happened to me today. Isn't Torvald's ultimate supposed to be CC immune? Is this a bug?
What if the whole team gets bloodbath? Then any elimination will heal 2 players and everybody heals each other. Seems useful specially when there's no support in the team.
I'm curious to see if the item truly stacks or if we're just assuming it does. If everyone on the team has Bloodbath and all contribute to a kill, does the killer truly get 900x5 healing? In that situation, even with max caut, you would still get 450 healing. And actually, I wonder if Rejuvenate affects the Bloodbath healing you get from other players. Cause if it does, then you could get a minimum of 1530 healing.
Since it's no longer true healing, It gets destroyed by cauterize late game, and it being tied with chronos for the most expensive item in the game doesn't help. Supports also tend to prioritize dmg reduction items, which are also expensive. Also the item is useless if your team is not getting kills. Imo, I think they should reduce the price.
Its kinda good on IO. I don't find myself needing a lot of items so Bloodbath is kinda makes the most sense unless your going a more dps focused route. I just rush hoard and bloodbath and 2 defensive items (armor plate, unbound, Sentinel specifically against ASH, veteran and nimble) Arcane warding is probably the worst item in the game i feel 🤣
Ngl, casual is the new ranked mode. My team has zero team play just like this second Jenos match, and my generational losing streak continues. Imma start playing ranked just to have fun next season...
I feel like bloodbath is really great on Grover, especially on. Onslaught. He’s constantly popping off extra heals
yes agreed he best at it but cant see any other champion beyond healers who can use bloodbah , maybe Raum because he can shoot many targets at once.
It’s simply a healer and tank only item, but most tanks need other items way more and late game it’s useless.
As someone who often plays Grover I agree but just like his other problem cauterize, often it feels better to just buy Kronos and nimble and what ever defensive item is needed

Raum, Khan, any that gives healing.

Yea you can mark enemies constantly and you should be attack a lot because of the card that reduces heal cooldown
Also I feel like you should see about playing with kamivs or frostfangs

Maybe make Kill to Heal unaffected by cauterize only on killing blows. Or just nerf the healing.
Dose anyone know if healing has diminishing Returns on it?
I dont believe so. I trust Andrewchicken would of said something about it
Thx
Does it also work by just having The Mark From Corvus ?
how havent you made a video on hoard yet?
Would this be a must buy in sumos?
4 supports with Bloodbath pocketing a single dps :eval:
Cauterize plus low kill speed will ruin it. Probably better off to have 2 healers, 2 tanks and a flank to make the most of it
Does bloodbath count as healing? In the stats and for credits
does the healing done by bloodbath count for total healing numbers?
yeah
Yep, had a Lian in a previous match that had Bloodbath and she had a number for healing done in the endscreen. Which, as Lian has no healing ability whatsoever, was definitely procced by Bloodbath.
Get Bloodbath as a third of fourth item on: Grover, Jenos, Raum and Torvald (maybe?)

I thought I was the only one who ran bloodbath on subservience Raum. I get like 50,000 heal games.
I'm new. When i put an orb on someone as jenos and they get a kill, do i heal them for 900 maxed out?
No, you have to get the kill to heal your team. You get healed though if your teammates get the kill.
does bloodbath stack if more than 1 player buys the item
If my teammate buys Blood Bath and I get healed by it is that effected by Rejuvinate? Since its not technically self healing?
Bloodbath is great on healers.
Not on anything else besides possibly off tanks or some flanks. Even then there are better items.
Its like they forgot that Kill to heal with Caut its useless, but also make it extra expensive lol....
works great on lilith
Bloodbath its realy good whit AOE champs, like Dreage, Drogoz, BK, BB, etc, etc, etc...., try it and youll see, and the stak it work very well
