But I like the way that Evil Mojo is improving Paladins as much as they can. One suggestion I do have is mainly the Unreal Engine they're using, if I recall correctly, they are still using UE3, I know it's going to take *A LONG TIME* to update to UE4. But that is going to reduce the amount of bugs we've been having for years!

Smite recently done the jump from 3 to 5 but I know they decided to go that route, most likely years ago. I hope if they decide to change, hopefully that we can see some early alpha later next year or early 2026 maybe. Here’s hoping

Yeah, the devs really just need to hand out more intense bans for AFKing games. If I had to guess, they probably don’t have the tools to verify if it’s even being done or if it’s a false report and can’t do anything real about it - at least it feels like from a player perspective, seeing an AFKer in almost every casual game.
The ult powerup is a nice visual change. Coming from a brand new player, I was confused my first few games why the Quake symbol was rotating in the center of TDM matches… even picking it up the first few times I didn’t notice it filled my ult. The color change to match the full ult icon is way clearer.
I think that's going to be very healthy for Paladins. These changes will allow off meta picks to shine which would either A: shift the entire meta making every game feel unique instead of seeing the same 10-15 champions every single game. or B: making some champs extremely broken causing people to always pick them but that could always be fixed w/ nerfs W changes in my opinion

I was shocked when I saw that with and without a Haven Saati's coin does 300 damage. There's no counter to that.

Ive noticed a trend of the healers being made less powerful, and this could be a way to keep the games long and intense. I am a bit skeptical on how the scent item will work, it looks to be a must buy, for bursty champs, at any rate. I am looking forward to the increased item count, increased beginning credit balance, and all the combos that come along with it, but i would like to see the option to possibly sell an item back to the store. (Plus that could fix the bug that happens when you crash and lose all progress on your items) Glad caspian is getting nerfed, not looking forward to the lian buff, and i wonder wtf the devs were smoking to think that was a good idea. Not looking forward to the vii meta again. Oh, and im hoping we get octavia back soon. Overall, i am quite excited at the new changes!

I'm most afraid of giga armored flanks and trigger scent.. increasing damage for 5s after a kill is way too long time as increasing damage like this already causes a snowball effect. Also the fact that so many games these days have bots just makes at least one player a free damage buff farm now too.
Skye is gonna have to be nerfed heavily after this [she's can snowball and not even have to try] cause I can see everyone complaining about Skye heavily
the split of haven confuses me, it's not intuitive. It says abilities will be countered, but Lian's abilities are not abilities? I can only imagine how many other champions im going to be wrong on too.
If you look at the ability descriptions for lian, it specifically says they are considered weapon attacks. This isn't a new thing, this has been the case for a while
What if each level of guardian counteracted the respective level of wrecker? Or at least halved it. That way you dont have 8k health torvald ruining the days of anyone who doesnt buy wrecker but tanks can still protect themselves from max wrecker. Also that way its still technically useful for non tank characters who have self shielding cards

When you max out the item, it's on average around a 500 heal taking account of cauterize. a LOT of champions play small amoutns of heals in their loadouts (bk 75 heal per bomb, barik heal from turrets, ruckus heal from rockets....). Will more hp be better in lategame? absolutely. is it still a relevant amount of healing? yes (also considering it on lvl 2 for round 1, on avg round 1 ends on abotu 50% caut, which means 600 heal per kill if you are affected by caut). I'm pretty sure you are the player taking lian eminence into ruckus yago instead of playing precision because eminence is the talent most people play kekw

Does any buddy know whether or no not skye confound card is working as intended. I was in training with max chronos, max posioner and max confound and it took me three posion bolt shoots for my 1 smoke screen bomb to come off cooldown but if I where to throw both of my smoke screen bombs at the same time, I get am instantly if I where to spam off cooldown.

I think grohk is going to be crazy as an off tank now, i main him so i’m a little biased. You get so many assists on marlstrom that you’ll be providing decent heals and the self sustain will be ridiculous
All they've accomplished with this new item store is create more volatility. Early game builds/gimmicks are going to be harder to counter and lead to more early game blowouts. Pocketed Flanks are going to be even more busted, snowballing is going to have people stuck in spawn and people are going to afk after first push even worse than they already do (with no punishment from the devs of course)
The DPS class is usually more suited to dealing constant damage, where flank can deal larger damage for shorter periods due to bursty skills that need cooldowns. Flanks are also usually more mobile and squishy. I usually see the DPS classes getting more overall damage in games, and the flanks getting more last-hit kills, because the DPS is sweeping through everyone with that sweet constant pressure while the flanks dive in and pick off anyone they get down low enough.
I think this new items is great opportunity to expiroment But believe some items it may end up broken in some character and i expect to have Chenge in the next update after that Buff and Nerf in some off those items
while i dont think this will kill the balance it will change it significantly sadly i cant play on pts bc of my connection but i do hope the devs balance things as needed and dont go overboard with the nerf or buff(like they use to do when balancing champions)

There was no need to split resilience. Sentinel is already too good bcs shields, there is no need to include light cc immunity. Also Sha, Vora, BK and other burst dmg champs are gonna be meta bcs of Insanity. No one asked for this, we want Paladins 2 in U4 or U5
honestly im ok with flanks not wanting kill to heal. they're already high up on the annoying meter. hate getting them down to 5% hp and watching them get a full uncauterized heal back to full.
Now guardian is not really overtuned but rather wrecker being at a higher price making it harder to get, and don't cry to me saying this item makes you buy wrecker each game, we been doing that with fernando makoa nyx for a while it's not news, what news is the matches will be a bit longer and team fights will rely on much more strategic planning rather than rushing for kills, torvald isn't as great as you made it sound, a good fix I suggest for this whole shields situation is to add diminishing return for shields just like how we have it for life rip and reload speed, this will hopefully not only fix torv but fix all shields, we NEED 5 slot for items 4 don't cut it because of haven and resilience split, tune down armor plating, a fun idea slightly buff moral boost chronos and nimble just slightly to make it so other items don't be as instant buy, hoard item is actually fine and it working in spawn makes sense to me and isn't overpowered, bloodbath is actually very bad for its price and in comparison to other healing items, veteran is good, meditation is amazing specially for flanks and off tanks, trigger scent or whatever the name is fine in term of of percentage it adds, nerf duration from 5s to 4s and more price to it cause it's too cheap, bulldozer needs an additional effect or still no one will buy it more dmg to deployables don't cut it for taking an item slot, idea for an effect could be adding ammo count scaling from 3/6/9 per tier, that's all for the item store, now pls anyone who read until here give this feed back to the devs via discord or the forms , since I currently can't/unable to sadly
i know its in pts so theres still balancing to do but history as shown things arent always balanced the way they should be once making into official. this would make things not strategic and instead make it about raw power aided by the new OP items.
This NEW store is gonna be scary for new players and low ranks because now u have split cc and hard cc item and Abbility or weapon dmg items, for me its not that complicated but i have 430+H so im very used to how every champ works and u know which ones focus on abilities an whose on weapon
Meditation Lilith is a big smoke in the eyes. Sure it's powerful, but completely useless if Lilith takes or deal damage. One can counter this by simply attacking her occasionally for even one damage or stepping spontaneously in her circle for just half a second. It's powerful, but I believe not that practical.
Mediation gonna be my go-to as Inara. Most of the time, I can retreat and go out of combat with her so that healing will be excellent (Especially when my healer dies)
Don’t understand why this change now with so few players. AFK will be no1 pick lol. They removed choices from 4 to 3, said it was to many and confusing, had blast shields and more crap way back in the day, all taken away. Now they split items up add more rows and make overwatch battles. I’m tired even now of the 1hp to full heal garbage that is already present.
It looks like they gonna loose more people after those changes. It's unballanced as fuck, I can bare it and have fun but tons of people are going to abandon the game ands the player count goes down from 8000 to 2000... and game will be dead.

Lifesteal cards on Buck and pip don't suffer with DR because they don't apply a buff to you, they apply a debuff to the enemy.

Fusilade Drogoz with Trigger Scent is going to go fucking hard, I'm so excited.
Tiberius Q also probably counts as an armor plating countered skill, and his bragging rights card probably heals really good with kill to heal.

it takes the same time for someone with lv0 wrecker to lower a tank's sheild with lv0 guardian, as if they both have lv3 those items.

Not a fan of that one item affecting ults mainly because the only fun thing to do with jenos is spawn ulting, plus I feel some other ults will suffer a lot

There was no need to split resilience. Sentinel is already too good bcs shields, there is no need to include light cc immunity. Also Sha, Vora, BK and other burst dmg champs are gonna be meta bcs of Insanity. No one asked for this, we want Paladins 2 in U4 or U5

honestly im ok with flanks not wanting kill to heal. they're already high up on the annoying meter. hate getting them down to 5% hp and watching them get a full uncauterized heal back to full.

These changes are on purpose, in the sense that they must be in preparation for another change(s) coming in the near future.

Now guardian is not really overtuned but rather wrecker being at a higher price making it harder to get, and don't cry to me saying this item makes you buy wrecker each game, we been doing that with fernando makoa nyx for a while it's not news, what news is the matches will be a bit longer and team fights will rely on much more strategic planning rather than rushing for kills, torvald isn't as great as you made it sound, a good fix I suggest for this whole shields situation is to add diminishing return for shields just like how we have it for life rip and reload speed, this will hopefully not only fix torv but fix all shields, we NEED 5 slot for items 4 don't cut it because of haven and resilience split, tune down armor plating, a fun idea slightly buff moral boost chronos and nimble just slightly to make it so other items don't be as instant buy, hoard item is actually fine and it working in spawn makes sense to me and isn't overpowered, bloodbath is actually very bad for its price and in comparison to other healing items, veteran is good, meditation is amazing specially for flanks and off tanks, trigger scent or whatever the name is fine in term of of percentage it adds, nerf duration from 5s to 4s and more price to it cause it's too cheap, bulldozer needs an additional effect or still no one will buy it more dmg to deployables don't cut it for taking an item slot, idea for an effect could be adding ammo count scaling from 3/6/9 per tier, that's all for the item store, now pls anyone who read until here give this feed back to the devs via discord or the forms , since I currently can't/unable to sadly

i know its in pts so theres still balancing to do but history as shown things arent always balanced the way they should be once making into official. this would make things not strategic and instead make it about raw power aided by the new OP items.

This NEW store is gonna be scary for new players and low ranks because now u have split cc and hard cc item and Abbility or weapon dmg items, for me its not that complicated but i have 430+H so im very used to how every champ works and u know which ones focus on abilities an whose on weapon

Meditation Lilith is a big smoke in the eyes. Sure it's powerful, but completely useless if Lilith takes or deal damage. One can counter this by simply attacking her occasionally for even one damage or stepping spontaneously in her circle for just half a second. It's powerful, but I believe not that practical.
Mediation gonna be my go-to as Inara. Most of the time, I can retreat and go out of combat with her so that healing will be excellent (Especially when my healer dies)
Don’t understand why this change now with so few players. AFK will be no1 pick lol. They removed choices from 4 to 3, said it was to many and confusing, had blast shields and more crap way back in the day, all taken away. Now they split items up add more rows and make overwatch battles. I’m tired even now of the 1hp to full heal garbage that is already present.
It looks like they gonna loose more people after those changes. It's unballanced as fuck, I can bare it and have fun but tons of people are going to abandon the game ands the player count goes down from 8000 to 2000... and game will be dead.
