Boykidman Boykidman , yes. It’s been quite awhile but the most noticeable tracks she sang on were Mission and REV 22:20 (from the Underworld soundtrack).

Potions , a song by Puscifer, is hardly ever reacted to on this format. It’s an amazing piece of music and I highly recommend it; even if you choose not to listen to Potions for a RUclips reaction, being a great piece of music by Puscifer, listen to it for your own musical enrichment, you will not regret. 😉

@dmelanconjr Ah well, I left that part out, I thought about including that info, but I mainly wanted to state the neglect of ‘Potions’ on reaction channels and how amazing the song truly is as it is one of my favorites by them. NIИ is also a highly favored band of mine and ‘Tapeworm’ would have been interesting for sure as a collaboration; alas, ‘twas not meant to be 🙃.
Smyd Stab , I’ve seen interviews with Trent and Maynard both saying they just weren’t feeling what they were creating with Tapeworm and thought it wasn’t “fan-worthy”. If Potions-esk music was what they were producing with Tapeworm, they need to get it going again!

Puscifer has so many different sounds that you guys still have to hear like 10 more songs before you can even have an idea of how unique they are! Check out Queen B for a very weird and sexy song with vocals from Maynard unlike anything you’ve heard before. Grand Canyon is a beautifully sung spiritual ode to nature. Momma Sed is like acoutic rock meets hip hop meets soul with some of my favorite Maynard singing. Rev 22-20 (Dry Martini Mix) is a darkly sexual satire of religion with amazing vocals and piano. They do a fun cover of Bohemian Rhapsody with an hilarious music video. They do a gentle and very space-y cover of Rocket Man. They do a parody of country music on Cuntry Boner. Green Valley and The Humbling River are folk-y and gentle. Man Overboard is it’s own thing. Money Shot is one of their heaviest and maybe the most like Tool. Where to begin??? You’ll be pleasantly surprised with every track! You guys seriously bring me lots of joy with your reactions, so keep ‘em coming!

I havnt seen a lot of people request this song but The Rapture by Puscifer is actually a great song and not well known i believe.
The last 1:30 of that song is so epic. I actually snipped and looped it a couple of times for my instrumental playlist.

You haven’t even scratched the surface. Songs like Monsoons and Horizons, green valley, and Telling Ghosts drip with flavor and passion. COMP is Puscifer in a nutshell, imo.
You two need to watch Puscifer live in Brazil! Eddie Vedder comes out and drinks Caduceus wine (Maynard’s wine) and sits on stage while they are performing! Aside from the time I saw them in Colorado during the Money Shot Tour , it’s one of the best live performances! ✨🙌✨

You will LOVE the Puscifer song "Potions". It is the single most beautiful song I have ever heard. Maynard's voice is indescribably gorgeous, I'm not kidding. I basically play it on a loop right now. Yeah, Maynard's magic is all over A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, just like with Tool. I'm pretty much an OG Tool and I LOVE Maynard's other bands too. Tool is the GOAT, but Maynard has so much talent that it cannot be contained to one band.
This song, "The Remedy" is about all the trolls and haters, online and off, and the "remedy" for those idiots. We can all relate, right? Carina is an incredible singer and her voice melds with Maynard's so perfectly. They are stunning together.

Do their whole live set in Germany. If not for the channel, do it for yourselves. It's amazing and better than any recorded album of theirs. Made me fall in love with this band, when i thought Maynard couldn't possibly do it for a third time.

I remember first hearing this song, off of the standards set by Tool and A Perfect Circle, who I already considered legendary and unstoppable forces. Then there was this. The comedy, the attitude, the depth, the sarcasm, the real emotion - all of these flavors, the amazing songwriting .... I was just in a whole new place of "Holy fucking shit."
Saw them at Rockville 2023 and had no idea the greatness of Maynard. I'm seeing them Thursday. Infatuation at this point. How did I miss your reaction ???

Conditions of my parole is a must. But Cuntry Boner was my introduction to them, and that was probably 3-4 years ago and it was hard to follow that song with anything else (anyone that has seen the video and heard it will understand) and I just now got really into them after the release of fear Inoculum because I just needed more Maynard and I wasn’t let down.
Puscifer has so many different sounds. Each album is unique. They love tinkering with different renditions of each of their songs and therefore have several remix albums. I recommend starting with a couple of songs from their debut album, “V is for Vagina”, then working your way through their discography of evolving styles and sounds.
Yeah this band does some really interesting things with their music. They go all over the place and their sound from song to song can really change. This song was my introduction to them as well and it was a great way to find out about them.

Corina Round has been in Puscifer for like eight years, but she has her own band and albums.

I've always thought that Tool was Maynard's primary effort to capture the unspoken part of the universe. It has an otherworldly sound. It captures the unvoiced essence that painters, sculptors, and poets have always tried to express through the abstract. Perfect Circle was Maynard's diary. It allowed him to voice his frustration and depression in more primal manner than Tool. It was raw. And Puscifer was him just f***ing around. It was his version of Pop music. It's the music he writes when he's drunk and playing in a dive bar. Because Tool and Perfect Circle are both so serious, Puscifer is the opposite of that. It captures the less intense, lighter parts of life.
Grand Canyon is soooo underrated. PLEASE give it a reaction brother and sister! I've been a TOOL fan since it all began and MJK's vocals are amazing on Grand Canyon.
