- This is a great VHS that came out in 1994 titled "Here Comes a Roller Coaster Showcasing, Six Flags Magic Mountain & its rides back in the day, I use to watch this all the time when I was a kid, If you have seen it I hope this brings back some memories and if this is completely new to you I hope you enjoy ")

Thank You to everyone who has watched this classic video along with me 😊
I hope you've gotten the same nostalgia that i have from it 👍🏻
I swear, renting this from Blockbuster and watching it on repeat in the late 90s is a large part of the reason I am today a roller coaster enthusiast with a burning desire to get to Magic Mountain...
But just so you know and just telling you!
Colossus is now Twisted Colossus, Flashback and Psylone aren't there anymore along with some other rides they used to have!
I actually went to magic mountain.
I drove 4 days to cross the country, and when I finally got there, it was closed.
I wanted to pull out a gun and make them let me buy a ticket and get in.
But my better judgement took over and I waited the two days for it to open (for some reason the park is only open Friday through sunday)
I love how this video makes Flashback and Psyclone look awesome
Somehow I wish magic mountain still had those two rides but heard flashback was somewhat a rough ride, and since an earthquake happened around there Psylone changed a lot!
But I think if they did kept Psylone I think they could've of rmc the Psylone and kept Colossus all wood!
But still things would changed and be demolished for all reasons!
MM certainly has come a long way over the last three decades.
Been searching for this one for YEARS!!!!!!!!
I think this is probably the only one where Dave is actually a serious adult and not the jokester like in most of the other tapes.
Happy you found it, Definitely very nostalgic for me & I had to share it on RUclips.
Holy crap I used to watch this all the time. I cried when I went to Six Flags the first time and wasn’t man enough to go on any loops. I was sad for days but conquered my fear the next time
Always love this video, I’m at Magic Mountain and try to recreate shots of where they filmed this. Naturally some areas of the park have changed after so many years but I found a lot of the same locations. Has anyone else tried this?
What's really funny to me is that these VHS kids movies are better researched than 90% of the clickbait roller coaster countdown videos.
90s Children's VS tapes are 1000 times better than the RUclips kids garbage of today.
If I ever have kids, this is the stuff I'm showing them.
No RUclips, no tablets.
Every time I went to my local library I’d always make sure to get this. It was this, then RCT 1, 2, 3 planet coaster. Now I’m studying to be an actual roller coaster engineer.
That is Awesome, I also wanted to be a Roller Coaster engineer ... But I was never good with math unfortunately 😞
I’m headed to college for the same thing!
@@RollerCoasteraddict same here man . I hope you keep roller coaster passion strong as a hobby and find another niche to excel in for work.
hows it been for ya?
@@The_Deep_Blue so far so good. I’m actually on the roller coaster maintenance crew at Michigans Adventure as an intern this summer
I've been looking for this all over the Internet for god-knows-how-long thank you😀
10:58 I love how Batman the Ride is teased here, at the time the B&M inverted coaster model was very new. So ahead of its time and still so great today.
24:50 pretty sweet when the B&M invert is finally revealed. It mentions it was designed with computers and the film has a theme the whole time of computers with the dad’s report finally printing after his nap.
The only reason I like about Batman the ride is because, the bat suit and the movie theme song from Danny Elfman as it’s based on the first two Batman movies.
Out of all the videos Dave made I consider this one of the best stories he created. It’s a classic story of lightening up
fave line:
"does the word 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 mean anything to you? ...It will"
I still have this somewhere in storage. Fantastic memories and looking at Magic Mountain now, my things have changed. Crazy how big it is now
I really thank you so much for uploading this as i been looking for this for 30 years or longer as im 30 now!
But just so anybody knows!
Magic Mountain has changed a lot over the years some certain coasters in here are gone from there and Colossus is now Twisted Colossus which looks marvelous!
I'm happy i watched this many times along with roller coaster tycoon!
you're very welcome happy you finally found it :) this is the whole point of me uploading this so everyone can find it.
This is the one Real Wheels episode I was looking for
i used to borrow this vhs from my local library and if that isn't a quint essential 90s kid experience i don't know what is.
Great footage of defunct rides that are hard to find 👍🏼
God the nostalgia is hitting me hard with this one
This was one of the first Real Wheels home videos I watched back in the day. It was very unique for having a storyline about a father and his son experiencing Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California (in a dream, that is). It used to make me want to go there.
Although I never rode on roller coasters, this home video was a lot of fun of me to see since it was one of the things that made me get into Six Flags alongside the Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 PC game. Sadly, some of the rides in this Real Wheels episode like the original Colossus are no longer around. Thanks very much for uploading it as it brings back wonderful childhood memories!
honestly it was back in Six Flags Magic Mountains Golden Era imo
i had this on VHS when i was a kid!!! good times :D
same here reminds me of my younger days
I remember watching this when I was 7 Years old in elementary school.
Dave got the REAL OG rare credit
I've been searching for this for years, I got it for my 4th birthday, and still remember that night sitting on the couch with my aunt and putting our arms up like we were riding the coasters. This was before I had daddy issues, lol, but I wore this vhs out. The nostalgia feels are intense with this one, and I'm in my 30s now.
I rented this when I was a kid!!! Still have yet to go to Magic Mountain. Six Flags Great America is my home park, but thanks to this vid SFMM is on my bucket list!
I have not been to Magic Mountain in a long time but when I went there, I did not want to leave. I think last time I went was maybe 2018
Oh this is such a gem. Thank you so much for uploading this. This was my #1 in the real wheels series, followed by "There Goes a Fire Truck"
I watched this in August 2005, when The Click Five released their debut album “Greetings From Imrie House”.
They had this video at my local video store when I was a child, and I really found it interesting.
Flashback is such a great looking ride, I can't imagine any problems and am sure it will stay at the park for decades to come!
13:02: this on-ride photo from Roller Coaster 1 is really good value!
i even saw scream park of six flags magic mountain on the discovery channel
I love this VHS and I have this movie
Omg I remember watching this I was about 5 years old probably in kindergarten
27:36~ Looks like what Dave and the printer needed was a good ten minutes to remember the fun days, and to process the report, respectively.
thank you for posting the full video
NOSTALGIA!!!!!!!!!!
Ah yes, the underdog of the real wheels series
16:44 The biggest wave of nostalgia hit me.
Man it makes me miss my Pop real bad.
R.I.P Colossus 1980-2014
One of the few real wheels videos I never saw.
Moral of the story is to play until you loose your job
I think it’s “Facing the facts may be important, but always forget about reality when in an amusement park.”
22:03 Oh hi Becky
9:38 This ride was featured in a music video for Belinda Carlisle's chart-topping hit "Heaven Is a Place on Earth"
I’ve been looking for this for so long!
I remember Kid songs filmed here in the 1980s
Love this
13:07
OH MY GOD I NEVER NOTICED THAT TAYLOR WASN’T IN THE PHOTOGRAPH
WHY DID I NOT PICK THAT UP AS A KID
Roller Coasters are fun to ride
Finally been looking for this forever
It’s Like Final Destination Reference When The Rollar Coaster Crashed.
I've been to knott's and had lots of fun at the theme park
The music in Ninja hits hard
I had this on VHS too. It is probably laying around somewhere.
its actually a hard VHS to come by, i just got lucky and found it on ebay ")
@@RollerCoasteraddict Oh ok. I can't remember where mine is from. I think it may have been Ebay. But my parents got it for me when I was like 11 or 12.
Whole lotta shakin’ going on!! Water water everywhere we’re gonna get wet.
No offense, but I think this came out in 1995, according to Amazon. Thank you for uploading though!
I actually own a copy of this on VHS and the copyright date on the back is 1994.
azolivas used to have this but it's no longer on his channel
I tell ya what watching the Viper Roller coaster just makes me dizzy watching it let alone not riding it I gotta try that out for myself!!
Magic Mountain doesn’t have a Batman does it? It looks a lot like the St.Louis Batman
Yes they do! It opened in 94, same year this video came out!
Dave has a son now? Wow
Amazing job guys!!
10:33, Bring out the Batmobile!
I have to ride every Rollercoaster at every amusement park
10:24 hey that’s from Batman
Burton edition
I see Becky borg cameo
This makes me wish Dave Hood crossed over Kidsongs.
Dave’s white pants rule
Is it true that Becky was seen with Dave for a couple seconds?
10:23 way before it’s change to dc universe land.
I don't understand what is saying at 14:51
Haha Elmer Fudd impression "I thought I saw a puddycat"
Alex likes toons does Dave Hood live with the woman that I will live with when i will be her boyfriend and not live with my parents no more?
24:38, Give me one please! One big one!
22:05 Becky cameo
From Full House ... lmfao
Taylor playibg a game gear
Check out My NINJA POV .. So Much Nostalgia Growing Up With This VHS (92)
Is there a video showing this in 60 FPS?
probably not. This was made in the mid 90s lol
@@GamingFanactic911 That decade had 60 FPS!
@@nickwerner7983 I don't think it was quite 60 FPS back then or if it was it was more expensive
@@GamingFanactic911 Budget Wise?
@@nickwerner7983 I mean, I could be wrong but VHS tapes were not really meant to run at 60 FPS. 60 FPS is typically 1080p which did not even happen until after like 2007 or something. I'm not an expert on the subject but I think just for the time this was released, they did not want to run it at 60 FPS
This is a fucking scp
Funny not seeing Goliath
ya but remember this was done in the 90s. Long time before Goliath and many other coasters would have come xD
@@GamingFanactic911 yes I know
@@ThrillsofColdplay but regardless ya it is funny not seeing it here or any other big guns like Tatsu and X2
Isnt that Full Throttle
Night Luna NOPE. Full Throttle was mellenniums away when this video was released. This was back in the early 90's.
Full throttle didn't open until a couple years later in 2013
@@seanlewis1148 THEN WHY WAS THIS MADE IN 2019 BOOI
Does Dave Hood have any children
12:03 Whooaaaaa. That was awesome... hah. Did I say awesome? LMAO 😂
11:07 19:31 19:40
I loved going to Six Flags MM in the early ‘90s. Thanks for this upload, it’s a walk down memory lane.
Have you been there recently? I have not been there in a few years but it is crazy how much has changed all these years later
