Great clip, I look forward to Lloyd Evan 2.0! I have been unfaithful to my wonderful wife before in my marriage and we made it through it all with good counseling and a better perspective. Just drive forward and let your actions be known brother. If people judged me off of my mistakes I wouldn't have anything to offer. You'll actually find a number of negative comments if you look. I'm unapologetically deleting comments that are abusive or overly invasive, but I'm glad to say there aren't that many that meet that description.

I’m curious as to why so many people were blocked for simply ‘liking’ comments made in seeming opposition to you? (Regarding the initial accusations that you addressed in your live stream, not the ones that came up after) Isn’t the goal to objectivity the ability so see both sides of something? Valid concerns and comments were made (esp right at first) on both sides and several ppl appreciated points on both sides but were then blocked, not allowing them to see any future statements or comments you may have made.

I’ve advocated in many ex JW groups the necessity of mental health evaluation and therapy if you’ve been in a cult. The damage is real. I left the cult with GAD and PTSD along with the bipolar that runs in my family.
Unhealthy and toxic ways of thinking and behaving remain. Please, please if you’ve been in this cult get help today discover your authentic self. It may be a painful process but so worth it.

Lloyd I've just discovered you over the last 2 days. I noticed your accent was familiar.... I currently live in Manchester and I was a JW in the Chesterfield/Sheffield area. I left the JWs at 16 having been baptised at 14/15. My parents and brother don't speak to me. I've never heard anyone articulate the same experiences I've had as a child until I discovered your channel and the Leah Remini interview and didn't realise how isolated I felt in my experiences until I heard others with similar experiences. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your down to earth way of putting everything is just so refreshing. Please don't stop making videos ♥️

What I don’t understand is if you feel he is unscrupulous then why do you still watch his channel, or attack the people that have chosen to stay? Don’t watch the channel anymore. As someone who has experienced the horror of betrayal, please don't refer to it as a "mistake". Infidelity is a choice. Having said that, it's a private issue between Lloyd and his wife and I wish them well. I knew he'd be back and am glad to see him in the saddle again. Onward and upward!

We all are not perfect, we all have pasts, and some things just are private, between people involved. This religion has impacted many of us in different ways, and many of us carry issues from it into our present lives. Im going to continue to watch your great videos, which although I've been out for a long time, continue to bring me new information, and updated info about this cult. Sorry to say, I decided to unsubscribe. Not because I had an opinion on Lloyd's personal life, but a good size chunk of the exjw community is so toxic, that I had to disconnect. The subreddit was coming up on my notifications during all the drama as well, and the bickering was too much. I made a comment on there about the toxic environment and I was promptly blocked from ever commenting on there again (didn't intend to anyway). I am glad Lloyd has decided to move forward with his activism despite all the b.s. because the GB needs to be exposed.
I totally get how you feel. I had arguments with several people on RUclips and was accused of all kinds of things myself simply because I asked for evidence to back up their wild accusations. I hadn't realized just how toxic the ex-JW community could be. It really is sad and quite embarrassing. Sorry you experienced it as well. Cheers!
@@nates9029 I think Lloyd is right when he talks about why he thinks many of the exjw are toxic. We were raised to uphold rigid standards and use the Bible to justify harsh judgment. We were isolated from anyone non jw and made to feel like we were the only ones doing things the right way, the only ones pleasing God. I get why their are a lot of toxic exjw, but I can now choose to keep toxic people out of my life. We had to keep putting up with one another in order to make it onto the list, but at the cost of our own need for boundaries and it didn't teach the toxic ones that they needed to change. They learned that they had to be put up with. F that!

Let’s be clear about this, as ex jdubs we were very judgemental. This is a something we should not be proud of, we are all humans we make mistakes. Lloyd, focus on activism you are good at it, it is important for people leaving, they need the support. Your private life is yours not for us to judge. Leave the private life from now on behind we don’t need to know any more about it. Too many people have enjoyed making this an issue and enjoyed hurting you. Let’s get on what the issue is here and it is the dangerous cult that destroys lives, families and children’s around the world in many ways including serious abuse, suicide by shunning etc etc.... let’s get on with activism......

the cover-ups of child sexual abuse and shunning need to be brought out thank you Lloyd. Being ex jw myself, also having been sexually abused within the congregation, and later shunned, I know all too well the destruction of family and trauma.

I am glad your back. I do think some of the criticisms of your past behavior are valid. As an ex JW I don’t take criticism well. After being in a hyper critical environment, and having someone publicly criticize what I just said after giving a “talk”, it’s now a challenge for me to distinguish an attack and constructive criticism. Perhaps that’s something you should discuss with a therapist. I know I benefited a lot, from doing so. Glad you’ll be making more videos. Take care for yourself, and your girls. Best of luck.

Any video coming on the "King of the North?" A lot of phone calls from JW family trying to persuade me that it's Bible prophecy in plain sight and I got to thinking, "Lloyd might have a balanced view here."
Glad you’re back Lloyd! We missed you. Seems to me a lot of people are living in glass houses and throwing stones. At the end of the day, we’re all human and make mistakes. Hell, the GB has actual blood on their hands, but if one of them ever realized the err of their ways and apologized and left the WT, the ex-JW community would welcome them with open arms. Those that want to bring you down should think about that for a minute.
