my daughter wanted an ice cream maker for her birthday....1) don't have the money 2) they don't sell them where I live, outside USA......sooooo you came to the rescue and I can make her some ice cream and show her the video :-) thank you so much!
big dummy baka someone said they’re at least 75 bucks, not many families can afford to use that money for something unnecessary. Although it doesn’t seem like a lot for you, that little amount goes a long way for other people. Don’t be so arrogant and assume you know everything.
try 2 cups whipped cream with 2 Tablespoons mascarpone cheese beat until stiff. Add sugar to your favorite taste and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. place in containers and freeze. Delish
i appreciate this video on making ice cream without an ice cream machine. A lot of times we purchase items to make our lives easier, but don't ask ourselves how often will be using that item. I prefer to find alternatives vs having a bunch of items underneath my kitchen sink that I use once in a blue moon, that money could have gone to something that will be used frequently. Great video.
I remember making it with the bag and salt method when I was in grade school but that was about 45 years ago so thank you for providing the processes. PERFECT!
Wow! It took me 6 years to get my eyes on this video. I made the first recipe. After 2 days in the freezer it's better than store bought. I'm gonna try it with less fat next time. Thanks😋
Wow! I just tried making peanut butter ice cream using the 2 ingredient method without a machine. I didn't even use a mixer, just whisked by hand. Gotta say it came out exceptionally delicious. I'm totally floored. Thank you SOOOOOOO much for this video! Can't wait to try more favors. I'm thinking coffee next.
I had the ingredients on hand and quick as a bunny jumped up and made a batch. One quart of whipping cream and one can of sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter and some candy turned into three quarts of yummy ice cream!!!! Vanilla extract, too, by the way. Thanks!
I like making turkish coffee ice cream. I basically brew coffee in the milk and cream used in my ice cream and then freeze it. I like the little crunchy bits of coffee left in the ice cream. I also make peppermint ice cream and chocolate ice cream. Sometime I like to make Mocha mint Ice cream which I simply add all the flavors mentioned . If i feel like making a sundae i will simply make a caramel sauce and add a little cocoa powder and whip some of the cream
thank you so much,,I will try it with less sugar as I am a diabetic, thnaks again and oh yes, I often take a huge spoonful of natural peanut butter with vanilla ice cream and it is so delicious it want to eat it all day long!
Thank you, easy to follow simple recipes. I love ice cream. I messed up trying to make ice cream today. But now I have the exact amount of ingredients, I am encouraged to make once more. In
Cherry.. Coffee.. Toffee.. or Vanilla mixed with 1 of them, this is ALMOST the same recipe i use to make cheesecake, i make 2, 1 i share, and 1 is mine !! my heart sit's in my stomach, and i LOVE it, if the stomach loves it, so does the heart (critics, keep your comments)
Tessa, you nailed these recipes! I made the peanut butter cup ice cream, and followed your directions to a tee. It was DELICIOUS, better than anything I could have bought. Also, it had a very creamy texture, which was perfect. I can't wait to make the mint chocolate chip. Thank you for sharing these yummy ice cream recipes!
I use the two ingredient method often and came up with an idea you might like-PB and J Sandwich. Stir in swirls of peanut butter, chopped peanuts(unless you use crunchy or prefer it smooth), dollops of your favorite jelly or jam and several tablespoons of wheat germ. Tastes like a sandwich and a cold glass of milk!
Okay everyone - I think I fixed RUclips's stabilization nightmare with this video! It should look normal now. So sorry about that! Thanks for sticking with me :)
Tessa, I love watching your videos! I believe the reason that your background is warped and moving during the video is that you might have pressed the "Stabilize" button in the Enhancements section of the Video editing on RUclips. I've done that a few times and when I finally watched my video I was so annoyed that the "Stabilize" button caused the shaking! Hopefully that helps you in some way. Also, anyone saying that she is copying someone else's ice cream recipe might want to take a look around the internet and look at the THOUSANDS of no-churn ice cream recipes that all call for those two ingredients; Tessa's video is an interpretation of that method - isn't that what recipes are for? Plus, she uses 3 of her own variations. There's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing that basic recipe and using her own variations. Shame on anyone that makes you feel bad for doing that!
Jennifer Kimbrell Thanks so much for your comment and support Jennifer! You are completely right, the "stabilize" button (as suggested by RUclips!) totally screwed me over. And now it's saying it's processing my reversal of it. Never doing that again haha!
I accidentally made a ice cream when I made frosting. I put 4 oz butter, 1 organic sweetened condensed milk and coco powder. It tasted like ice cream to me, so I put it in the freezer. And it was delicious. So now I want to make my own ice cream lol Gonna try the first recipe (since it's like the one I accidentally made haha)
I used homemade sweetened condensed milk which I found is quite challenging to prepare. First I dissolved about 3/4 cup of sugar in a cup of milk and brought it to a boil, then turned down the heat to slow simmering until half of the water was evaporated as it appeared to be gooey and light yellow. Then I let it cool down and put it in the fridge overnight. The problem was, the next day I found the liquid was completely hardened into a brown toffee-like substance. I had to add about a tablespoon of milk and let it dissolve and soften in it. I even used a hand mixer to break it up. This ingredient really took me a lot of effort and time to make.
Why would you want to cook milk with sugar for a frozen food? Combining cold milk and sugar is the equivalent of condensed sweetened milk, no cooking required.
Omigosh! you made my life much easier. I love to make ice cream but I always hesitate because of all the variations of the ingredients that it calls for. Your recipe has minimal ingredients and easy to follow; even I who's notorious for screwing up simple recipes can make this work.
I love your ice cream recipe love the way you make them i am a ice cream lover i don't have to buy any no more i will make for my family and friends thank you so much 🎉❤❤

I loved this video ! I tried the freeze and mix method and it worked SO well! Thanks to you I will be enjoying my Nutella ice cream now! Love this! Bye!
Hi Tessa, a new subscriber from equator here, where heat is often unbearable and ice cream is a godsend. Thanks for sharing the tricks! Question for method 1: how do you prevent the ice cream from getting hard in the freezer?
With this method, be careful not to over beat the mixture. The problem with over beating the mixture is that beating heavy cream separates the butter which you will feel coating your teeth and mouth.
the bag method was better and it does work ! I made some myself but instead of cream I used half and half plus of course vanilla extract I also used iodized salt

This trick really does work! And here’s a tip USE WHOLEMILK! :) no less fatt or stuff like that :), I made mines with just whole milk and condense milk!
