I just made this tonight, I used 2 cups heavy cream (whipping cream) and 1 cup whole milk and 3/4 cup of pure cane sugar with one vanilla pod and a splash of vanilla extract, it came out really smooth for not having eggs but I think I needed more vanilla, I'm cheap and I didn't want to use 2 pods😂 but 1 full tblsp of vanilla extract would have been perfect 👌. Hello Sher. Well we made our first batch of ice cream using your recipe. We made half vanilla and half rocky road. Wow its awesome. we put in the freezer to finish. I found a little hard to get all the ice cream out of the pot but did get it. It was funny that while she was washing, the water was still freezing inside. But if they have switched from 500 ml content of the container to 2 cups they have done so to raise the price without people noticing it. I realize this video is 4 years old and back then they will find ways to quietly raise the prices without people noticing it unlike today where the prices are skyrocketed and nobody cares.

In Britain a lot of Ice Cream makers use to have 1litre tubs but there now 900ml. Other things are being reduced in weight as well so it's happening all over, Good for you to point it out 👍👍👍

If you want to be upset, take a look at the width of the cereal boxes these days.
Check out the concave bottoms of jelly, peanut butter and mayo jars and you'll see that you're not getting as much as you think you are. Shame on these companies.

About what? The volume of the bowl? It’s smaller because of the cooling fluid and the insulation in it.
@@bl6973 He's refering to the Dairyalnd size containers Crafty Sher Cupcake talked about at the beginning of the video ( around 2:35...). The cream containers used to be 500ml and now they contain 473 ml. The milk containers that used to hold 250ml now contain 237 ml). Customers are being ripped off!
