wow, I have the KitchenAid lift. mixer I did not know about the ice cream maker bowl. That is so cool now I can make ice cream for the whole family we love ice cream. Now, that is getting hot out side is now 80 %. It's summertime. Thank You for sharing I am now going to purchase my ice cream maker bowl and the kids, and I are going to have a blast. Are you sure the information in this video is correct? I've been told that this newer ice cream attachment does not fit the KitchenAid K5-SS body style mixer which is the older bowl lift mixer that has the drip ring on the front just like the Tilthead has.
It does not come with a lid, but you can buy reusable silicone ice cream containers to store it. They're $10-$20 depending on size, brand, and the amount of containers.
