The Stagecoach Dennis Trident - Part 1

The later years of the popular Dennis Trident double decker at Stagecoach. Whether you liked these buses or not they were a main standard of the fleet ordered between the late 1990's and the early 2000's to serve Stagecoach for a good 25 years. This video covers the years between 2014 & 2018 in a variety of areas around the United Kingdom
Many of these started life in London latterly being converted for Single door or to serve as Open Top vehicles which are seen in this video. The three main bodyworks shown here are the Alexander ALX400 which were most commonly ordered by Stagecoach with some Plaxton built designs for Greater Manchester and the less common East Lancs bodywork mainly inherited from other operators taken over by Stagecoach.
Areas of interest include the East Midlands starting off at Lincoln Mansfield and Worksop and moving onto Greater Manchester, The Midlands, Chester, South Devon, Cumbria & The Lake District, South Devon, Milton Keynes, South Yorkshire, Hull and Newcastle.

It will be missed all of uses of Dennis Tridents in Hull have been discontinued and are been moved on to other Stagecoachs or being scrapped another legend gone forever

There's a couple of Enviro 400s (MX56 and MX07 plate) running in Hull that still have the classic Trident sound, I always try and go on them if given the opportunity (luckily my local route drops them a lot) - not quite the same as the ALX400s though, wouldn't mind having them back lol
