I like the Souls like formula, but I agree that I’ve seen so much if it that I’m just tired of it, especially since it requires you to memorise enemy moves if you want to get good meaning more hours need to be put in. Games like Elden Ring still are a blast but will become stale if that’s what all games try to do when it comes to the combat

I have to memorize all these damn enemies and their moves until I get to a boss and then die and start all the way over? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Not fun. Games are about fun to me. Not about bragging that I beat a game that has shit rules.
