WubcakeVA was a dangerous predator who used to do fan contents in the Danganronpa fandom. I think I should mention that because she used to be popular there, but she was exposed a year ago.
@@P_araps For more context, if you remember another MLP Fan VA by the name of JennabunVA, she was actually 12 years old at that time when she was first groomed by Wubcake and her adult friends, emotionally. Jenna was not an adult or even a teenager for that matter all this time (but Wubcake tried hide her age at that time after she was called out) but WubcakeVA sexually assaulted her at a sleepover back when Wubs was 19 years old and Jenna was 13 years old, and when Jenna spoke up way back in 2015, Wubs and her two adult friends @RusticShine and @Kittyhipur silenced her by deleting her RUclips channel and the deletion was actually done by Rustic Shine and now, Rustic is currently in the mechanic RUclips community and people in the Mechanic community should know what he has done to a 12 to 13 year old girl back when he was 20 as well and he's posting shitty contents like it never happened until I decided to comment to scare him off because he can't stay on the Internet too and he isn't welcome anywhere. 🤣🙄 But yeah, ever since that happened, JennabunVA officially left the MLP fandom forever and she isn't coming back to do content creations because these adults traumatized her for years for commiting a crime on a child.
I think its worth mentioning that the sayaka guy isn't just some guy but the son of the writer of grease (hence where he gets the funds for all of this 😭)
1:15 i’m 15 now but i was REALLY into danganronpa when i was 10/11 😭😭 i had the books, cosplays, watched playthroughs of the game… i can confirm it’s not for tweens 🙏
As a Danganronpa fan since 2021, I will not lie, the fandom is insane. All fandoms are insane in their own ways, though. No fandom is safe from the insanity.
i just got into the games and the fandom and HOLY SHIT i didnt expect this, i swear im normal and i like the games because i like insane characters and the storyline, i do not endorse the shit that happened in Ultra despair girls 😭😭😭😭
Yeah. Unfortunately, as much as I love Danganronpa, the fans are very harsh. They do crazy things like what's mentioned in the video but also take dumps on people who like characters that they don't. They'll act like their opinions are absolute and that no one else can think differently.
ive been in this fandom for almost 3 years now and i have no plan to leave. i have stumbled uppon LOTS of terrible people here more than in any other fandom ive ever been in, yet ive also met my best friends thanks to this fandom and i can certainly say, we do not claim these weirdos like snow as a part of our comunity
Same thing with Jujutsu Kaisen, TADC, helluva boss/hazbin hotel, Fundemental paper education(even tho I'm in fpe fandom but I promise I'm not like these weird fpe fans)
Kind of the same thing with the msm fandom, like 40% of the msm fandom has toxic little kids and it's unfortunately a pretty big side of the fandom that I had to leave
I'm a huge fan of Danganronpa since 2014, but I never participate in the fandom. Knowing that Danganronpa gain a popularity in the last couple years (thanks to Tik Tok) I was surprise how disturbing Danganronpa fandom is, which frustrating because I love the game. I'm glad that I got into Danganronpa purely because of my curiosity with the game not because of the Fandom, because dear god... Danganronpa Fandom is one of the kind. I still distance myself from the Fandom, because I love Danganronpa because of the game and Kodaka creative decision.
I'm so glad i joined the fandom last year on October most Danganronpa fans i met where normal but some of them are literally hell ESPACIALLY fans of the antagonists i am a fan BUT NOT THOSE KIND OF FANS😭
This isn’t super related but I really agree with your opinion on true crime I think people should use it as a way to give support/justice for the victims and to be used as an example (like what you said in the video) but I feel like a lot of times victims can be disrespected and it’s really sad
Oh Danganronpa... I got into the fandom via my older brother around eight years ago back when I was twelve and it just consumed my young brain. At the time there were only the two mainline games, the THH anime, and UDG so I remember all the hype around V3. I love reading the weird/fun fan theories (still mad they didn't go for "Tsumugi kills someone and cosplays as them in the trial" plot because that would've been fire), guessing what the new characters ultimates would be, and I remember rushing home to catch parts of JinjoJess' livestream playthrough before the game got it's English release. It also means I remember a bunch of controversies and weirdness. Anyone else remember the hoax about the Komaeda kinnie who cut off their finger? Idk why it isn't brought up more because that was INSANE. I also used to do a LOT of DRKG RP (specifically OC RP) and as embarrassing as it is to say, it probably saved my life. I still have my OCs up on toyhouse and remembering how fun it was makes me want to make my own fangan lol.
This is honestly how I feel about the Gacha fandom specifically. Outsiders only seem to talk about the negative aspects and make sweeping generalizations, which in turn fuels people who also hate the fandom to create satirical or rage-bait content, disguised as serious content, that ends up reinforcing the hatred. It’s a never-ending cycle of narrow-mindedness: people hate on a fandom full of kids, then create rage-bait Gacha content just to encourage others to join in the hate. It’s frustrating because the fandom I knew wasn’t even that bad. Sure, there were cringey, poorly written stories, but as a kid, I never constantly encountered the notorious “dark side” everyone seems to focus on. In fact, the major fandom itself dislikes that part and often mocks it, but outsiders take these jokes seriously even then, which only adds fuel to the fire.
As a part of the fandom, I apologize for certain things in the fandom, I just prefer the game, I don’t like the sexualizing and horrible people in the fandoms.
when i was still in the fandom i tried reading some fun non-despair au fanfics to heal my heart. and the amount of fanfics i found where they 1) made kamakura his own person separate from hajime then 2) made him hajime's twin brother and THEN 3) decided to SHIP THEM?? was just way too many
Danganronpa is such a mixed fandom. On one hand, there are some incredibly sweet and creative people, and the series itself has a unique execution but like many fandoms, it also has its share of toxic behavior and bad apples. While Danganronpa was once a standout for its edgy themes and mystery elements, it's harder to get into now. A lot of the initial excitement has worn off, especially after the release of V3, which didn't quite live up to expectations for some and the only thing keeping it going is the fanmades. Compared to other series that were inspired by or inspired Danganronpa, it feels like it's lacking in fresh content and depth these days. It was once exciting, but now it’s not as engaging or healthy of a space, which is surprising given how long it’s been around.
" which is surprising given how long it’s been around." Bro it literally just came out in 2010 and ended in 2017, not everythings made to last you know🙃🙃
10:10 Already she broke the most fundmental rules of firearm handling. 1 *Treat all guns as if they are loaded* and 2 *Never let the muzzle of a gun point at anything you do not want to destroy or kill*
@Ermakshually While yes, the ending is flawed in a lot of ways. It's still a good ass Danganronpa Game, in my opinion, my favorite one even. Not to mention, Tsumugi could be bullshitting a lot of the stuff she said in Trial 6.
Some fans are crazy but the whole cosplayer killing her friend had nothing to do with the game or fandom. It’s a shame that the game is so good and the biggest fans are so weird😭

i got into the danganronpa fandom and more along with the internet wayyy too young. i was 9-10 when i found it and i was already desensitized so nothing phased me. which is sad btw. don’t watch things ur too young for y’all.
I started getting into danganronpa in 2020 (when it got popular again for some reason). It will always have a place in my heart because it was also the year i got into anime and other stuff. I never got to play the games but i watched gameplays and i absolutely loved the characters and the plot of the story and also edits that people made on instagram. But i also learned how obsessed and weird a fandom can be 😭 I think nothing will ever compare to JJK fandom after "the gojo figure period incident"
As a Danganronpa fan, I’ve been in this community for a bit over a year. I’ve seen more criticism than actual toxicity. But I have come across toxicity. For example, someone called me toxic for my opinion. For one thing though, most people are really nice and respectful. Most the danganronpa fans nowadays are really nice people. I have come across toxic fans obviously. I hate when people judge me over this. I do admit most the people, I’ve come across are young though. Most danganronpa fans are as you say.
As a Danganronpa fan since 2016, i sometimes feel old. But I always stick with the positive side of the fandom and just enjoy creating stuff around the characters.
Danganronpa V3 got banned for violence and possibility of repeat crimes. I’m concerned whether anyone actually idolizes the show enough to commit a REPEAT CRIME.
@@MysticTheFloofBall No bc i literally know exactly which zoo fic you’re talking about.. I read it when I was 14 and was literally balling my eyes out after.

The "Maizono Church" guy is actually a papercraft tictoker. He makes a *lot* of really cool paper builds like 3d pokemon, really tall cutouts and, lots of other stuff.
As toxic as it could be- some of my fondest memories are from the Danganronpa fandom. I definitely got into it younger than I should have, but i had so much fun.
As an American who lives in the USA, believe me. I will never understand other Americans obsession with guns. But that’s coming from someone who wants a katana for Christmas.so…
I'm an ace attorney (or a general vn) fan who finished danganronpa 1 and at chapter 4 of danganronpa 2, they're alright but not the best starter type of visual novels, i feel like its bias but play ace attorney if you want to get into visual novels, plus our fandom very more sane than danganronpa
Im the complete opposite, Dangan is something I completely ate up as a young teen but Ace Attorney just looooves to drag itself on longer than it needs to...
While I vastly prefer Ace Attorney over Danganronpa I don't think saying stuff like "our fandom is more sane than danganronpa" is going to encourage a lot of them to try it out. It's the easiest bar in existence to pass as well.
I feel like the problem with the fandom is the opinion of characters and “kinning”. This is actually pretty different from other problems in other “toxic fandoms” at the time like MHA which most of those fandoms just have shipping problems. Danganronpas fandom wasn’t the worst, it was in the middle, I was a big fan in late 2021 it was still very popular until like mid 2022. Now the fandom since late 2022-now is very laid back and not as bad as it was a few years ago, actually it’s very small but cozy
hifumi yamada is a creation used to show the danganronpa fandom hates themself also danganronpa fans have a bad reputation cos despite me loving the game, i will admit some scenes may attract certain types of freaks
For me atleast, the fan games are what kept my interest in danganronpa alive for so long. Since the game's formula is so easy to repeat and change, it meant that a lot of people could make stories on par with the real games themselves (and sometimes better considering that most left out the questionable stuff from them).
2:51 the exitsuins (IDK HOW TO WRITE THAT😭) Are a little bit extreme for kids😭like the one from I forgot her name…the one with blond hair in danganronpa 2 no not Junko 3:38 this thing

Good Lord, I've been in this fandom since like 2014 and I haven't seen so much trouble come out of this fandom since 2020 when a bunch of kids got into it (yes, I was a teenager myself when I first got into it & shouldn't have been consuming that material but geez the kids nowadays who got into it are COMPLETELY UNHINGED 😭😭😭)
The toxic kinning, the doxxing, Tenko hugs, Mia Kokichi, Kokichis Fountain (WHO USED TO FOLLOW MY DR TIKTOK ACCOUNT AHHHHHHH!!!), Oliver & their friend who dressed up as Nagito who walked on gravestones with them, that one Nagito kinnie who pretended to cut their finger off on Discord or whatever, canceling people who didn't head canon Kokichi as gay 💀, the ship wars, the character wars, the fanfics... (the Kokichi ones are completely disgusting & unhinged... I'm looking at YOU Let It All Out & Kokichi Goes to the Zoo... 😒😒😒😒), that one famous Kokichi cosplayer who got outed as a PDF file on Discord... Just SO much 😭😭😭
WHY ARE THE NEW GEN FANS SO INSANE?!?! 😭😭😭😭

@@Natasha.Louiseecan’t blame 🫣🤭
ooh boy i remember being in the fandom in 2020 (probably when it was at its peak toxicity) it was INSANE. my personal ick was that it it seemed that majority of the fandom didnt actually read through the stories and only assumed stuff based on what they saw on tik tok cuz holy shit the mischaracterizations were so bad and people only seemed to care about shipping wars and "kinnies". this is only touching the surface level of the things that danganronpa fandom has done cuz there's way worse stuff but thats already talked about in the video.
but honestly? im more suprised by the fact that the fandom is still alive?? i swear a large amount of them (myself included) shifted over to genshin after it released in late 2020
Only people with bad taste care about Genshin but ok?
i was in the danganronpa fandom from 2019-2020 as well, i had fun but i witnessed some crazy toxicity first hand too. Those on the road accounts were fun, though.

WubcakeVA was a dangerous predator who used to do fan contents in the Danganronpa fandom. I think I should mention that because she used to be popular there, but she was exposed a year ago.
WAIT IS THAT THE SAME WUBCAKE FROM THE MLP FANDOM,,
@P_araps YES HER! THE SAME WUBCAKE!! SHE USED TO CHANGE FANDOM AND NOW SHE'S INFILTRATING HAZBIN HOTEL/HELLUVA BOSS FANDOM!! 😭😭
@@nicatine man i used to watch her MLP content alot as a kid,, shame that she turned out to be a not so good person

As a newer Danganronpa fan, the old friends who got me into the franchise were low-key insane.
They are on par with the cringey My Hero Academia fandom.
MHA might be next on the chopping block i fear

My Hero actually ended pretty well, and gets much much better in the newer and close to last chapters, but yeah.

Don't forget furries (speaking as a furry)
I eventually left the fandom and joined the fandom for the Danganronpa fangames (fangans) everyone’s so chill here
I'm so glad i joined the fandom last year on October most Danganronpa fans i met where normal but some of them are literally hell ESPACIALLY fans of the antagonists i am a fan BUT NOT THOSE KIND OF FANS😭
As a skibidiganronpa fan… these ships and fans are getting wild
as a danganronpa (and a K-pop fan including ive cuz I follow you) fan, I SINCERELY apologize for how the fandom is😭
This is honestly how I feel about the Gacha fandom specifically. In fact, the major fandom itself dislikes that part and often mocks it, but outsiders take these jokes seriously even then, which only adds fuel to the fire.
i love when you talk about different topics , love the diverse content. keep.that.sh*t.up
I used to be a fan of danganronpa in 2020-2021 and that was like the game in its peak, danganronpa fans areso crazy. 😂

this feels like the msm fandom kind of situation all over again, I got into msm because of the cold island trend so I could be like the other people
Danganronpa is such a mixed fandom.

As a danganronpa fan I am not creepy or crusty.
This is why I love V3's ending narratively. Because it shits all over the bad side of the fandom while also celebrating everything.

@Ermakshually While yes, the ending is flawed in a lot of ways. It's still a good ass Danganronpa Game, in my opinion, my favorite one even. Not to mention, Tsumugi could be bullshitting a lot of the stuff she said in Trial 6.
@@Ermakshually V3 is also more of a tribute to the Danganronpa franchise as a whole, even if it does poke fun at fandom culture and kinning.

i got into the danganronpa fandom and more along with the internet wayyy too young. i was 9-10 when i found it and i was already desensitized so nothing phased me. which is sad btw. don’t watch things ur too young for y’all.
But i also learned how obsessed and weird a fandom can be 😭
I think nothing will ever compare to JJK fandom after "the gojo figure period incident"
2020-2021 quarantine era fandoms have the absolute worst moments istg 😭
Danganronpa V3 got banned for violence and possibility of repeat crimes. I’m concerned whether anyone actually idolizes the show enough to commit a REPEAT CRIME.

Omgomg ace attorney mentioned i definitely prefer it over danganronpa as well
Ace Attorney >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Danganronpa and most Fangans.
I'm in the Danganronpa fandom and I respect your opinion :D and im a new subscriber :3
As a member of the fandom, we're a different breed 😔
I feel like the problem with the fandom is the opinion of characters and “kinning”. This is actually pretty different from other problems in other “toxic fandoms” at the time like MHA which most of those fandoms just have shipping problems. Danganronpas fandom wasn’t the worst, it was in the middle, I was a big fan in late 2021 it was still very popular until like mid 2022. Now the fandom since late 2022-now is very laid back and not as bad as it was a few years ago, actually it’s very small but cozy
Me and my best friend would probably seem like the most normal Danganronpa fans to most people outside of the fandom😭
hifumi yamada is a creation used to show the danganronpa fandom hates themself
also danganronpa fans have a bad reputation cos despite me loving the game, i will admit some scenes may attract certain types of freaks
For me atleast, the fan games are what kept my interest in danganronpa alive for so long. Since the game's formula is so easy to repeat and change, it meant that a lot of people could make stories on par with the real games themselves (and sometimes better considering that most left out the questionable stuff from them).
Danganronpa Another duology CLEARS the official trilogy
I don't tend to resonate much with fangans myself, but the effort that people put into them is something I'll always respect.
