Thanks for the tour! It was fun to see all the clever things they packed into the available area. That's actually a very sensible setup for local cruising and fishing, especially if you choose the smaller motors. It would still run quick enough out to the fish spots & sightseeing, without using much more fuel than a big pickup truck or camper. It even looks like a good candidate for a possible redesign to a highbrid electric with motor pods, with a battery pack & generator in that aft "cabin" space. You could get a fair amount of solar on a full cover roof, too. I know, it's already such a versatile boat, but I can't resist thinking about future evolutions :)

Lots to love on these Saxdors. Indoor/outdoor helm? Never though about it, but I love it. I can come up with plenty of reasons it could be a good tender, just think of the storage in that aft cabin, BUT... Don't think the seating layout would be optimal for 8-10 guests and crew. Plus you'd need to tow it, or man it during transits. Maybe if it had a more beachable design.
Cute boat. At the risk of being a pain in the butt...the layout pad opens at an angle using two gas struts. If I designed it, I would replace those two struts with 4 struts...one in each corner. Those 4 struts would periscope up equally and could raise the pas high enough so folks could stand up in there. To take it one step farther, if you did that you could probably design that space as a tiny kitchenette. Anyway...always thinking! :)

Never been a fan of sun / moon roofs. Its not if they leak, its when they leak. That leak will always happen at the least conv. time. Other than that i LOVE the boat!!
Agree, also electric motors on a boat will always fail quickly, especially when it’s a “cost conscious” component (ie. Cheap) like the ones Saxdor tends to use. I’d want a fixed ceiling covered with solar panels.
