Thanks for the tips I just started my own detailing as a side hustle it’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing. I’m ordering a bunch of different towels and cleaners from you guys.
Thanks for the info. Good to know what your towels uses are for. Heading to your shop here in West Palm Beach this morning to pick up a few items. So happy to know I have your guys shop 10m from my house. Makes it so easy to get items I need, instead of ordering it online. I need it today and I can just go get it. Plus I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way you guys have your shops set up. I feel like I'm in a Toy store for my car. My inner Kid comes out when I'm in your shop! 🤙
Thanks Joey, great video. I never knew there was a deference in microfiber towel. I have been using the one size fit all approach. Well thanks to you i going to order my microfiber buffet of various microfiber towels.
Thanks for the tips! Different microfiber cloths have different fuctions. Use the right microfiber cloths to save more time when cleaning the cars! So great!
I just bought a new car and I did my first car cleaning. I have a question regarding the microfiber towels. Do they need to be washed after you cleaned the car? Or they last for several cleans? Thanks.you guys rock!
Question: Can you use the happy ending towel on the Wooly Mammoth? Just kidding...I love both, as well as the other color-coded microfiber towels...great system and appreciate the systematic approach applied. Kicks detailing up a notch! Great tips in the video!
Can one wash microfiber towels, with the wax and dirt, in a home washing machine? Any special handling so one can still wash clothes or should one use a separate washing machine? Do you then dry the microfiber towels in a home dryer or air dry the towels? Thanks.
first of all i like your videos very much, they're very educational, i'm trying to start a detail shop, and i only buy chemical guys products, they are kinda pricey, but in the long run they're awesome, my question is: do you use bleach on your microfiber towels, and softener?
Hey! Thanks for tuning in. It is best to avoid using bleach, starch and fabric softeners when clean your microfiber towels. Check out Microfiber Wash to maintain your towels. www.chemicalguys.com/microfiber-wash/microfiber-wash.html?gtmListValue=Internal%20Search
@@thequicksloth60 If you watch to the end of the video, they get into that. They sell Microfiber Wash that works pretty well. There are also other products on the market designed for microfiber.

I have a question. Most people don't really dry off their wheels after a wash. Do you recommend getting a dedicated set of MF towels for your wheels? Thanks!
So I have like 20+ different towels and I haven’t been dedicating my towels to certain areas of the car. I’ve been washing all of the at once and used dryer sheets. Do I need to replace every single towel or are they savable
Steve Tag can harm vehicle paint ( Minor Scratches & Swirls ) So to Avoid Those he suggested to tag off. In all the microfiber cloths Manufacturer mention their Brand & GSM on it .

So I just started using your Micro Fiber wash with my micro Fiber towels & air dry them on low in the dryer , but noticed that when I use the towels once clean and dry the windows there’s like this Lint that sticks to the windows it’s real small lint pieces but you see it more once the sun hits the window . What can be the issue ?
I genuinely appreciate how you guys quite literally have videos for everything and comparisons so I am not wasting money!
Used wooly mammoth for the first time yesterday! I love it !

Hi, we can use the Happy Ending towels to wash the car instead of a glove ? I would like to wash with towels but i don’t know which towels to choose
Yes, that is perfectly fine!!
I need to pick me up some !
Thanks for the education on car towels
Happy detailing!!
I love the new veloster n
And a sick color
Only big point you missed. Only wash MF towels by themselves, do not throw in any thing else no matter how small
Why tho cuh?

@@ChemicalGuys thank you so much! very helpful. God bless
Great tip on different color towels for different jobs, doing it this way makes it much easier and literally a no brainer, but how do you dry them ??
I honestly just dry mine on the low setting (air dry with no heat). Just don't use dryer sheets. You can also air dry them (i.e...hang them).
Steve Kitner what about detergent? What’s the best? What should I get?
Steve Spencer I think they might sell a product for washing towels on the website. If not they have a specific video dedicated to maintaining towels
Steve Spencer
The microfiber wash is great; for drying, I usually dry with low heat 👍🏼

I have a question. Most people don't really dry off their wheels after a wash. Do you recommend getting a dedicated set of MF towels for your wheels? Thanks!
Hey Tyler! Absolutely, coordinate your drying towels to prevent cross contamination.
So I have like 20+ different towels and I haven’t been dedicating my towels to certain areas of the car. I’ve been washing all of the at once and used dryer sheets. Do I need to replace every single towel or are they savable
They look and feel fine but nobody has answered this question
Hi there! Prevent cross contamination by separating interior and exterior microfiber goods. Using dryer sheets can render the microfiber unabsorbent.
Why do you put tags on towels then tell people to tear them off, can you not just make them without the tags.....?
Steve Tag can harm vehicle paint ( Minor Scratches & Swirls ) So to Avoid Those he suggested to tag off. In all the microfiber cloths Manufacturer mention their Brand & GSM on it .
I learn so much from y’alls vids, 🙏🏼👍🏼
Awesome! Thank you!
So for most of us that don't detail for a living... I can't see washing four towels separately..... paint, glass, wheel's & one for wax or polish.
just look better
nah i'm playing
Good information. I learned a lot.
Glad it was helpful!
can i use laundry soap (white) to clean microfiber towels? or could it harm them?
Nahuel Cupello Oliverio yeah i use no fragrance clear laundry soap, works great
Nahuel Cupello Oliverio but NO fabric softener and air dry, not in a dryer
Do you dry them any special way?
Hi Dustin! Use low heat/tumble or air dry your microfiber goods.
Nice video!!

How do you clean your towels

How to pick the right towel:
Does it like to get high?

Dj Rudee same thing happens to me when the towel is new. After a couple of washes it goes away
They are the Blue waffle style towels that I use for the windows .
i always wash new towels before using with a little white vinegar and the micro fiber wash. make towels feel very soft and never had a lint issue
Why do the happy ending towel come with that awful sticker I had to throw away my 3 towels as I couldn’t get them off 😩🤷🏼♂️
Yea, that rectangular sticker that's super glued on there.
thats not really all of your different microfiber towels you guys have alooot more different ones that you did not mention in the video
Make peter do a video
No way the mammoth holds a whole gallon..prove it
Not hating, I use a lot of cg products
It holds a lot of water. I can completely dry my Acura RDX with it without ever wringing it out.
Same for my f250...not knockin the towel. The fact he specifically said a gallon is what im doubting
Lol look it up. There is a video of it
Do u need to sperate the colors ?
Henry Hong yes you do, you don’t want to use a tire towel as a glass towel or a towel for leather as a detail towel
Cross contamination
Air dry. Microfiber towls for drying rims and removing coatings
Great suggestion!
If it’s not Nick in the videos, I don’t watch.
Nick is the Chemical Guys Master. And one cool cat.
