Especially this video is a real treat: 18:38 minutes of pure Autobahn joy, the perfect length for these kind of videos. The acceleration and top speed don't come too short, even though it takes about 40-50 seconds to drive off of the Autobahn. That's time I kinda miss in the other ~10 minute videos... Hell, I would watch an hour long video of your runs and/or your Autobahn reviews! And let's be honest, you wouldn't mind either driving those absolut monsters a bit longer :D All the best for your future, I am already looking forward to the upcoming years!
I would always prefer the Cayman GTS because the silhouette, the black elements and the alcantara in the interior looks so fantastic! I´m still not the biggest fan of this new 4 cylinder engine but it has its own character. The performance of the 718 with this great undercarriage and the perfect balancing is still matchless.💪 Maybe the Boxster / Cayman is the best Porsche because they are very compact.
@@307skylake7 It's barely faster than the 718 base model 4cly 2.0 because of torque. You pay about $100k for a bit of sound and NO crackles of any kind. For some its worth it.

@@fidgetwidget9116 I like the Alcantara so I got the GTS Interior Package. It's a weekend car so not afraid of the wear and there'll be no food or drinks allowed in the car. However, I did opt for the GT steering wheel which makes it leather as I have seen some gross alcantara steering wheels over time.

Not a fan of the head mounted camera angle, it's too dizzying. A couple of fixed cameras providing a couple different angles would be far superior to this. That said, I love the 718 GTS! It's well worth the upgrade from the S because the power delivery is much more linear and smooth. I assume it's due to the larger turbo and different ECU programming. I definitely plan to purchase one of these in a few years...unless I can figure out how to afford a GT4.

actually its safer to stay on the left side when you go faster than anybody else in traffic. thats because people in front of you will see you through the mirror on the left side and already think youre fast. this happens obviously before they see how fast you are, so they dont change line ... for whatever reason.
It's annoying to me how jumpy the ride seems to be, IMO Porsche has the best ride quality our of all the german brands and I've driven 718 Caymans countless times
