    I have a Big Jim's Thunderchild 56" 2 piece takedown longbow that looks very much like your bow. I treat mine like a one piece, because it's so short anyway .

    Looking forward to the shooting video. Been interested in a 2 piece for a while.
    Life's too short for Allen Keys, and pants.

    2p longbows are rare, ones made for a lefty like me rarer still. I also usually take the buss to the club and travel with a 2m stick is a pain so a bow that does not cost an arm and a leg is great.

    You are about the only youtuber I follow where I do not skip the sponsored message :-) I have the black hunter longbow mk1 and it needs a new string (the original one is garbage). However I have the suspicion it is the 58" variant ... how to measure it properly ?

    • @ArcheryAdventures
      @ArcheryAdventures  Год назад

      Probably the easiest way without getting too technical, is let me know the exact measurement of your string (tip of the loop to tip of the loop), when it has the appropriate amount of twists to give it your desired brace height 😇
      I can to the rest

    Oh just checked it’s $399 USD, shipping sometimes is free with a code. For a 40# of this how many strands would you build your Flemish strings? I do like the two pieces but I really want more d shaped limbs, I’m old school with a English longbow but I need a shorter bow for indoor shoots… 72” ELM just too long when shooting shoulder to shoulder in compact lanes. Any opinions for two piece longbows are greatly appreciated.

    I had a Blacktail bow sent from them (think it was fed ex) They refused to release it to me. I went to fed ex office to try & sort it out. They said it was already in the plane back to America. Blacktail bows was awesome & sent it back to me but sent it seperately (riser) & (limbs) & labelled it as wooden handle.

    Endless loop isn't fast flight. Fast flight is Flemish twists. Or all the ones I've ever seen are.
