I remember when Knight wasn't that familiar with Em in the beginning of his channel and now hes one of the best reaction breakdowns of hip hop lyricists and one of the best that break down Eminems lyrics.. Growth!
Better than that clown who just jumps up says oh my god walks around the room and checks his toilet can’t stand that guy
@@tottenham2294 Lol, I stopper watching Shaq's reactions after discovering Stevie...
@@Sidd_Mnisi same here bro Stevie is my genuine in his reactions I respect him more because not every Em song is his thing and his Honest about it
for sho
@@Sidd_Mnisi for sure and knoxhill ofc to my favorite channels to watch to breakdown ems music
I really like it that you go back and re-react to your previous reactions. Keep your self accountable, show your own growth musically, with reactions, and give yourself a second shot at the content for anyone who missed it when you were a smaller channel.
No need to be embarrassed. It's actually super dope and a sign of strength that you can go back and critique yourself or admit to mistakes or change your opinion, etc. Smart people do s*** like that
Hell yea because it's a different mind, another man, Steve has grown so much knowledge wise and he knows that, hence why he does these 2.0 re-reactions. Mad respect for Steve. 💪🏾
I was just bout to post the same thing.
Its refreshing in today's social media world of just blaming everyone else, to see someone not afraid to say they made a mistake, own it and keep it moving.
It's shows maturity & self awareness when so many are caught up in their ego's & pride.
Been watching since you were only around 1k subs..(was a different username, I think a hater got in their feelings & got my account booted. Lol)
Been cool to him keep it 💯 & not sell out like many other reactors, and also watching him branch out with Knight talk etc.
He deserves all the success that comes his way.
I feel the same way. Also i think it shows what kind of person Stevie is and that's a cool ass, real, honest dude.
Show his growth musically and muscularly
This is one of those songs that's better the second time around, don't be too harsh on your first video, most people listening to it the first time, fans included would've thought it was about his relationship with Kim. It's way more powerful when you realise the real object of the story and his rocky relationship with Hip-hop and how under-appreciated he feels.
im shock people didnt see it from the start mind blowing
folks really defending em? wtf?
explaining why they into him? WHAT?
u reading too much into this shit lol. good read, but appilcable, naw
With this one specifically you're not supposed to know until the last line.
It's funny Stevies acting like he missed something the first time around but there's nothing to miss. One line was "all i do is rap" but that's about it. There's no actual double entendres or hints, just writing that can be heard both ways.
In other words, the last line is supposed to "get you" lol
I got my friends into Eminem growin up I had to get them to listen again then they decided to listen to all his shit
I LOVE the 2.0 reactions. Stevie roasting himself is HILARIOUS and I'm here for it all 😂😂😂.
So cool to see the progression. 💙
Agreed 💯. Stevie great job on your Em journey and giving it the time that it deserves. Keep up the good job!
No need to be embarrassed. It's actually super dope and a sign of strength that you can go back and critique yourself or admit to mistakes or change your opinion, etc. Smart people do shit like that
Facts
Your reactions are the best.
We need to make an interview between Em and Stevie HAPPEN!
This is kind of why I would love to see Stevie do 2.0 from MTBMB album. It would be fun to see how much more he would get out from the songs on that album since it was his first touch to Em's music. His ears are on so different level now with Em than what they were on those first reactions. I hope that it will happen.
I second this. great idea
Good shout ✌️M
I 3rd this? Anyway I would LOVE to see Stevie do all of MTBMB both sides as 2.0 Stevie with his "Eminem ears." Bring it on Stevie!
@@michaelbraum77 hell yeah!
still waiting to see this, even if he did great catching bars, a 2.0 of MTBMB would be awesome
Recovery is an incredible album! It deserves more credit when people pass it off as “poppy”. I can play the album all the way through without skipping a track. 💪
This ain't poppy one bit. Mfs are dumb saying that shvt
It should have won Album of the year like MMLP and TES
@@kdizzle901 it won a Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2010. 🙏
Recovery was a great album after Eminem came back after his hiatus and woke up everyone with this album.
Love this Album. Close to my fav.
Just wanna say that I love and respect you man from the bottom of my heart,i pray that you achieve everything in your life as long as I'm alive, I'm with you Stevie, keep it up my big brother May God bless you and your family always.
I’ve literally started the Em journey with you. I knew the big hits I’d hear on the radio but he was never on my playlists. I thought stans were corny etc. Now I’m actually aware and your spot on, it hits so different! I’m glad I found your channel and Em. Been rocking with ya since 39ksubs! Never stop grinding!
I've been on the Eminem wagon since he dropped slim shady LP in '98. I was 12 years old hiding that album from my mom haha... That's how bad that album was back then but I was so addicted to it when I was coming of age and going through puberty. Now I'm 35 and guess what? I never left, Eminem is always been an inspiration to me. He truly is infinite (same name of his 1996 album).
Glad you're finally listening to a true Artist. Btw I never called myself a stan. I see Eminem as a brother. That cuz I look up to him for inspiration.
Listening to a lot of Em’s music without knowing the background is like tuning into a great TV Drama (Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones, Sopranos, etc.) at like season 3 episode 5, not know what is going on, and then after it’s over say it was just alright.
Edit: although even if you don’t know what’s going on, to not recognize the rhyming ability, flow, cadence, etc. is insane to me.
🙏💯
facts my g
Most definitely
That would mean.... SSLP is season 1, MMLP is season 2, TES season 3, Encore season 4, Curtain Call is the filler episodes, Relapse is season 5, recovery season 6, MMLP2 season 7, Revival Season 8, Kamikaze is season 9, and MTBTB is Season 10.
Infinite and SSEP is the Prologue.
100%
I’ve definitely experienced that feeling Steve! It was “2pac -me and my girlfriend” I listened to it for YEARS thinking it was about a relationship with a female…. Nope it’s about his gun. When I realized that… holy shit, the song became 100X better to me.
See, I'm glad I stumbled upon your comment. I thought it was about his girl!
Totally hilarious watching you dissect yourself. Keep that up. And yes, this is one of his deepest songs.
50 needs to make a tv show about Ems life. That shit could fun for 10 seasons without getting boring.
And 50 would do his amazing story justice because they are so close.
my god I wish, binge the shit outta it
I think he works hard to try and reach everyone in one way or another. And he’s good at it. 🌹
I was with you my man, started listening to Em because of you. Thought nothing of him because I’m not a particular hip hop fan but you really made me love him and really need your breakdowns😅
I see Em in the notification I click!
FACTS
I’m a simple man
I forgot about this record, god damn its still just as good as the first time i heard it YEARS ago
Same. Had to add it to my work playlist!!
this and beautiful are two of my most play Em songs
I remember watching your first reaction thinking how off you were but really appreciate you admitting your mistakes. Respect my man ✊
Eminem set up this track in a way for people to relate to it in their relationships and at the same time portray how he feels the hip hop game has treated him after investing so much of his life to it. This song is an absolute masterpiece. Glad you were able to see that and change your view of this song. Respect!
This whole reacting to your reaction thing is the best. Respect for looking back and respect for growing
Watching Stevie for so long and see this change from when he first started listening and doing his reactions to now is crazy how much he’s grown.
Like it’s insane to literally watch what a lot of us Eminem fans experienced when listening and growing to understand his music and his ideas.
And that’s what makes reactions videos so great, getting to relive our first reactions through someone else. And the fact that Stevie is definitely one of the best if not thheeeeee best at the breakdowns
Keep it up and stay on it ❤️👍🏼
I'm really glad you see just how great EMINEM really is. Grow that grind big fella, I'm with ya all day and all the way
It's only after you hear it all the way through the first time you realize that it's about his relationship with hip hop. Until then this song puts you in a place where you relate it to a personal experience. That's the genius of the song
Em has done MANY songs about this with like 2 or 3 on MTBMB alone! Hell, I didn't catch the fact on Darkness that Em wasn't talking about being nervous about a concert until it's revealed that it was a double the whole f--king time about the Las Vegas shooter, who will remain nameless! And I've listened to just about everything song he has done and even some rarre battle footage where he is booed of stage. Wonder what the hecklers think about doing that now that he is the Rap God and GOAT. And did anyone know that he wrote Rap God in 6 f--king minutes?!!! That's nuts!
Cinderella man is my favorite song of his it's fucking fire and the message
Stevie roasting himself is top tier content "that's CAP!" 🤣
I like the way you did a double split review from your previous videos reaction in how you grew from your own understanding and critique of Eminem. Love the way you dissect his verses and music and being honest about it. Keep it up!
I’ve always been an Eminem fan and I fell for the trap with the song until the very end. It’s so brilliant and clever, that’s the whole point. Don’t be embarrassed, that just means he did what he intended.
Really enjoyed watching you react to yourself instead of a review. And many of us didn’t put it all together before the give away line. You can see how far you’ve come along since your earlier reactions!
Stevie, your evolution the past few years has been crazy. Glad I been here to witness it.
Watching this channel on Eminem has given me so much more respect of Eminem's music. Seeing the true skills of a master of hip hop. And Steve knows how to make it a good time listening and learning these meanings behind the words of Eminem.
This is probably one of my fav reactions of yours Stevie. Thanks man
I love this. I was here for original reaction and this new one. Support always. ❤
So much respect to you for putting a video up of a past reaction. Killer channel✌️
Watching you on this journey has been great!
Crazy to see how much you changed. And I just started watching you. Mad respect
I love when you do this man !
I really enjoyed this and appreciate your growth and appreciation for Em and your craft.❤️❤️❤️
I love that you are reflecting yourself! Thats growth
Been nice watching you evolve.
Proud ya stevie! I’ve been following since you had only 10k and seeing your growth has been awesome. 🔥
Your growth as a content creator has been awesome to watch, your original video was great but you showcasing how much you have grown since then to now and even watch your original video with us shows how much better you have become when you were already awesome starting out, good stuff bro
OMG... this gave me the chills .... I watched that reaction and I was with you on the same page... and now here we are... whole new people both of us! Man we grew!
I love how unapologetically real you are, even when analyzing yourself. You're definitely proud man, but you seem to be stronger than you are proud. In excess, pride can become a severe weakness, so a truly strong person avoids the pitfalls of pride.
John Mackey, you should report those comments, it is a clone account!!
@@toni-ann5151 thanks, I just did it. I was very confused why Stevie Knight would even reply at all.
@@johnmackey2240 I had them in my comments yesterday and I noticed today they're everywhere👀 I reported my too and to Stevie.
Respect for this video. Well done sir
This was always one of my favorite Em songs growing up I'm glad you revisited it! Keep up the dope reactions you've been killing it!
I have been rockin with you for years. I love seeing how far you have come and how willing you have been to learn. Most people aren't even open to learning. Let alone becoming a black belt in this shit.
It's always crazy to go back and re-watch/listen to something when you have a new perspective or appreciation for it. I enjoy when you do 2.0s.
Em gives depth in his lyrics. People also have to realize he wasn't famous till he found Dre. He had more years of poverty than most rappers. People also have to realize he is loved in the community that didn't and still doesn't accept him. This is what actually makes his accomplishments as a lyrists and artists so amazing. Em is for anyone that has needed help in life. That had a rough upbringing. Like myself many have an understanding of how he feels and why he says what he says.
"He had more years of poverty than most rappers"
I'm a fan of eminem but you stans go too far, man, even in poverty he has to be the biggest damn
@@davidalves9976 it's a fact though? Nothing about being the poorest or whatever you think it is
@@davidalves9976 I didn't say he was poorest. I was stating a fact that he was a poor adult for nearly a decade and was damn near homeless till he made it. Most rappers aren't poor but until they have made it in their younger years. There are others as well, but to state he wasn't young and actually had to live that life more than a year or two as an adult makes my point a valid one.
@@gabedelgadillo6811 ok i give u that
good point
@@davidalves9976 respect to you. Most internet disagreements end the same. This one we heard eachothers points and respected the perspective. Have a good one brotha.
Love the reaction to the reaction!!! 🔥🔥
This album came out when i was in HS... time flies!
Yo facts lol feels like just yesterday i was hearing Not Afraid on the radio
You reacting to your past self is fn Great!!! It's like a time machine. Give this guy his 1M subs people! Stevie is that big brother that toughens you up! Good shit Stevie!
ive watched this journey and its been epic !
I find these kinda videos of you reacting to your reactions both dope showing how you’ve been leveling up in this shit and also hilarious because it’s like you’re clowning on a younger brother or something but also like mentoring him (you) which in a way you are because going forward you are aware of the misses you made so improving from it. It’s some inception type shit and I’m here for it.
Have been waiting for this song reaction
I fucking love this video bc its what weve been through which is watching ems career and now heres this dude and we can see him viewing ems whole career like we were.and now its the end of the arc and he contemplates it all on this song
Watching stevie react to stevie is the best lmao. Been watching all the 2.0's again just so I can see the growth. Hell I've grown alot too, appreciate you doing all these reactions for me man!
This is awesome to watch. Keep the gold coming
this is very humbling too see and shows a lot of character and i was not watching the whole video, but I listened too it all, while I was cooking and prepping food, and saw parts of it and damn!!!!I am going to support the best I can and share, your content!!!God Bless!!this was dope, genuine!!!Great break down and great honesty!!
Bro this is so cool to go back and compare what you know now to what you thought then. Need more of these. Keep doing you
You gotta react to lyrical Joe -barcode vii
The experience you feel with HipHop and your personal progression I feel as an artist. I look back to a year ago and see the progression, its the same with your reactions. Keep going, STEVIE NIGHT A GOAT OF REACTIONS. Love from the UK
I watched that first video, and I have always appreciated your open mindedness to give Em a chance! Also, you are actually teaching us with how we need to look back at our self, and hold a fair critique so you can grow as a channel!!!
This is so good man, back then we were doing what you doing yelling at the screen saying you missed this and that.
It's so fun watching you reacting to em....you really became a stan..lol
This is my favorite video of yours I always tell people there's so much u will miss listening to a newer song if you didn't listen to his other albums and know all the little things he's put in songs
One of the greatest reactions I’ve ever seen. Analyzing your old self. Freaking kool
Your reactions got me through worst of Pandemic. You’re so real and have grown so much. ❤️
I appreciate this reaction a lot!! I watch a ton of reaction videos on rap songs, especially em, and so many people don't get the shit that I'm hearing. And I miss a lot of shit! Nice to see you come back and correct it! 💯👍
crazy to see the growth in your Eminem knowledge
Your reaction is awesome 💕
Stevie I know how you feeling on this, I've had bars go over my head all my life and when you realize what they mean down the line that song really changes what it means to you. As we get older we slow down and actually listen to and appreciate the art instead of just grooving with the vibe. We all growing up with you man.
The reacts to the reacts are fantastic.
Loving the 2.0 ish keep it up 👊🏻
Sigh yes that old StevieKnight with Red hat. Loved your Em reactions from outside perspective 👌🏼
LOL, love the progression and also how you told yourself on the old reaction... NOPE !!!
reviewing past reviews after catching up on the music is a good idea, i like that
I love when u go back and react to your past reactions they are always funny how u roast your self and to see how far u have gone doin these reactions
I never usually comment on RUclips but it takes a lot of courage I think to go back and honestly assess and judge yourself in general let alone on a video that's going to get crazy number of views. Props to u and just goes to show 1 of the reasons ppl tune into ur videos cause u don't try and bullshit ur viewers. Well done Sir, look forward 2 watching ur reactions of Em's new (hopefully soon) album!
I just watched a reaction video of a guy reacting to his own reaction video... and enjoyed every second of it.
Yo stevie I would absolutely love watching the moment you and eminem could meet in person. You have so much respect for his talent, while always keeping it 💯 and telling your fan base it's not what you would normally listen too, however realizing how much you appreciate his art. Music is art. Thank you stevie, love your channel bro...
Omg I've heard this song at least 10 times and I've never realized this. Sometimes I focus too much on his flow and cadence I don't let the words soak in. Thanks for this analysis!
Stevie Knight reacting to himself, going back and revisiting these bars, revisiting and going deeper! Thanks for making my day better.
Now you're reacting to yourself from our prospective. I love it. You're seeing what we saw when you originally reacted.
Exactly. You gotta watch his evolution from bottom to top and understand his story through his music to truly appreciate everything. He’s BRILLIANT. GOAT for artists for me for ALL TIME.
I love watching Stevie, watching Stevie
cool to see you can laugh at yourself. You're breakdowns have helped me to appreciate how many levels a lot of Em's lyrics work on.
Bro I love hearing you say you are a fan!
Yes Siri you’re right it is dope as fuck for us to see your growth of the channel from how you were back then and how you are now keep going fam love the content
Brilliant stevie 👏
Great reaction!
It's jokes watching Stevie letting loose mimeing the lyrics being a proper em fan. This how we all where growing up in our bedrooms, in the shower, getting older driving our cars singing our hearts out to Eminem songs and even at work with the headphones on. You really can now say you felt how we felt growing up with the goat as our main go-to for music. Its Been sick watching Stevie on this journey he has taken. I found you watching the game and emm recent beef and ended up going back two+ years and watching videos one by now and now finally back at your recent shit. Your the best breakdown reactions RUclipsr. Plus love the energy and open minded ness you give. I appreciate you bro keep on doing you
It takes a real one to take that long hard look into the mirror and be able to acknowkedge where you begin and how far have you came... Self awareness is the greatest wisdom one can get. I fukz with this chanel hard! Big propz to you Bruh! Salute from Portugal!!! Lets GO.. Road to a Mil Subs Lest GOOO
I got all of Em’s catalogue as well so I know what you mean when you say you don’t know how many people won’t feel that feeling if reflecting on your self from the beginning, to looking back through the songs with the knowledge you know now and comparing how you felt then/now thats dope!!
Continuing to be one of the best reactors out there. 25 to Life is easily one of my favorite Em songs, and while it’s a bop on face value, it does get SO much better once you know the metaphor of the entire song. And don’t worry about your old video. I think most people miss it at first.
Go Stevie 🔥rapping along
Glad someone did a re reaction to a great song that deserved it .thank you
*It's just simply amazing how (Stevie) ears have grown in the past 2 or 3yrs.*
u r killin it with double reaction true story
You were taking the words literally instead of poetically. It's great to see the journey you have been on. It has been worth it and fun to watch as you grew.
Fav song of em, good reaction
