I noticed you’re tinted like me. I’m getting these fine lines towards the side view mirror that goes the whole length. Did you see anything inside the can possibly make a scrape mark like that? Thnx!
Not that I recall. Perhaps something is lodged between the glass and the seal mounted horizontally on the interior door panel which contacts the glass. Thx for watching 🍻
It did NOT come with the regulator; i have a spare fresh right side regulator if anyone sees this and wants it. New window came in from a used sx4; i see rust but not even close to what I see in your video. (im using it as reference going to try and do it myself with your help) Cheers.

Hello! Really hoping i may get some help/advice from you! I have the same suzuki as you, mine is an 2008. It started overheating and takes about 5 mins or so to do so..im stuck on whether it’s the thermostat or something with the radiator/fan. It isn’t making noise so i don’t think it’s the pump..it does smell and turning the heater on/up does not help..i have not tried taking it faster than 20 mph to see if it may be able to cool that way with the clean air. Any help is appreciated..thank you!
Hello. Start with the basics. When the engine is completely cooled, remove the radiator cap to check the coolant level. Don’t dare remove that cap with heat in the system. It’s a pressurized system which is pressurized to about 1 Bar when hot. If you remove that cap when hot, the system will instantly depressurize lowering the boiling point of the coolant and a scolding torrent will spew forth. Very dangerous indeed. Ok…having said all that. It is completely safe so long as the engine is cold. Simply checking the expansion tank doesn’t prove anything. If there is a small leak (quite possible). The system will not pull a vacuum when the system cools and tank may appear full. Hence the need to remove the system (not the expansion tank) cap. Have you done this?
@@TheGibby3340 I have done this and she is completely full in the Reservoir and the system itself. I ordered the thermostat to just start there and see if it’s a hit and if not will move to the radiator. Thank you so much for your reply!
@@lynne2358 No worries. No disrespect intended. Does the electric cooling fan operate if the temperature gauge approaches 1/2 travel (approx 90C) ? It should. Is your vehicle air conditioned?

@@TheGibby3340 It is air conditioned and i have not tried this honestly out of fear of it getting too hot..this is a sign of the fan not working properly right? if car shuts the AC off to keep the engine from getting too hot?

I don’t believe there is anything wrong with it…The rear windows only go down about 1/2 way. It is a child protection feature. 🍻
