When soft, wash it like you’re washing bitter leaf to remove the skin (i.e place the quantity that would fit between your palms and glide up and down until your palm is empty of the beans). Continue that motion until you see the beans skin has been removed for all or majority of the beans. Add enough clean water to allow the skin float to the top of bowl, sieve that away. Wash, rinse and sieve continually until the beans is clean to a larger extent because sometimes you can’t get all the skin out of the water to be honest.

Bought already peeled beans from African shop and soaked it, the rinse until no skin.
