Thank You Very Much!!!! Best lesson I've had so far from all these youtube tutorials. I'm barely starting out so you've taught me so much about pressing.... Thank You!!!!
Awesome just awesome!!! Love the way you did the shirt bottoms up. creativity at its finest, everyone is not the same thanks for being true to yourself.
The temperature for our material ranges from about 280-320 degrees. The kraft cover sheets are mainly just a coated paper to protect your heat press and garment.
The temperature for this class is 320 degrees. The temperature will vary based on the transfer you are applying. The cover sheet is kraft paper from Stahls.com
All of the materials used in this video are either printable heat transfer vinyl or Cad-Cut heat transfer vinyl. We print on large format eco-solvent printers and also cut designs with vinyl cutters.
Hello, The clear carrier is just the sheet that holds the vinyl. All of these designs were cut on a vinyl cutter using heat transfer vinyl. :) We created the designs in house before cutting them.
Please tell me what kind of heat transfer paper you are using. It looks high quality. I like that. Where do you buy it? How much does it cost? I am on a tight budget.
The one color products featured in the video are Stahls' Cad-Cut products. Anything that is printed or multi-color is a Cad-Color vinyl product not a paper. You can visit stahls.com to check out more of our heat transfer materials.
Traditional Cad-Cut material has the clear plastic carrier on it from the manufacturer. If it it printable material you have to mask the design yourself with a clear masking.
Hi Brooke- Welcome to the world of heat printing :) The transfers are both vinyl. The pink is CAD-CUT Fashion Film. The silver is our CAD-CUT Glitter Flake. We cut both of these out on a vinyl cutter but you can also send your designs for Stahls' to cut. Both materials are available at www.stahls.com
problem is things get pressed and tossed to the side. or he looks at them but not the camera. the "oh, that looks nice" and then tossing it to the pile doesn't show us what's going on. specifically when the red hoodie changes color with the pressing. is that just temporary and changes back as it cools or is it permanent and that garment is toast? was there bleed through from the red to the transfer? can't tell cuz we never saw it. just a really long commercial for the heat press
how u get the design on that clear transfer paper or what kinda paper is that i new just got my heat presser that dont need a printer so can u tell me what kinda transfers r they an already made like that
You can make Monograms through Stahls' Template designer on our website and we can send them to you ready to heat apply. The heat press is here: www.stahls.com/fusion-heat-press
When you did the two step shirt, what did you use to cover the decal already placed on top to add last decal? Cream color item, like paper..? Is this some sort of wax material paper?
In what order do initials get placed on a monogram? Is the last name initial placed in the center? What is the best font for monogramming? Thanks for your videos.
I was also wondering does Epson finance? I see it's a great printer, but pretty pricey. If I'm correct that's F2000? Is there another printer I could purchase that isn't so much, but it does a great job also?
Hello, Yes we do use screen printed transfers! We have a bunch of videos on our RUclips featuring screen printed transfers, and a lot of information on our website, www.stahlstv.com, as well. They are both great decorating methods. Heat transfer vinyl offers many more special effect finishes and a wider range of customization possibilities, but can sometimes get overwhelming with large orders. Screen printed transfers offer less customization in terms of special effects, but they are often a better solution for large runs of jobs.
Thanks. Im trying to start small to test the waters. Do you think my silhouette portait would do fine for now? So far Ive made one shirt for my daughter. It turned out ok.
Yes, your Portrait should work fine, you'll just have to size your material to fit the cutting width of the machine. The cutting specs should be the same as the Silhouette Cameo, which we feature in many of our Craft Corner videos.
I'm confused. I contacted a local seller of similar equipments, in Romania. They say paper heat-trasfer is the worst of all, will show after 4-5 washes. :-) Is that true?
Stahls' TV o ok. I have decided to start the business also. Im starting with a little over $3000 plus i have an 8 in 1 heat press machine from heat press nation on the way. Are there any vital tips you can give me since im new at this? Any tip(s) will be appreciated. Thanx.
We offer the Stahls' MAXX Press (www.stahls.com/maxx-clam-heat-press) which has interchangeable platen capabilities. We cut all of these designs using a Graphtec CE-6000 and we print our digital prints on a VersaCAMM print/cut system.
The material used is heat transfer vinyl and can be found by visiting: www.stahls.com/heat-transfer-vinyl We also offer a free online design tool perfect for creating monograms: www.stahls.com/heat-transfer-templates
Stahls' has a custom logo service where we can print transfers for you. The other option is to invest in an eco-solvent printer. www.stahls.com/cad-printz-custom-digital-ordering
When heat applying on garments that have buttons, pockets, zippers, etc. We always try to keep those areas off the bottom platen to ensure even pressure. You can check out the heat transfer vinyls used in this class by following this link: www.stahls.com/heat-transfer-material
In reviewing the video, here are the materials most commonly used: Glitter Flake, Fashion-FILM, Hologram HTV and Foil heat transfer. To check out our various heat transfer vinyls, please visit www.stahls.com/heat-transfer-vinyl.
