    1. don't rush, brainstorm
    2. try starting an online store first
    3. do some research, find fabrics, prints and other technical things you’ll need to figure out
    4. make sure you are financially prepared and planned for anything
    5. quality over quantity!
    6. research to try to make a profit
    7. be more social, pass out business cards, talk to some friends, post social media, just market your brand (don't think about it, just do it!)
    8. recognize patterns in your sales and change accordingly
    9. avoid trying to find a business partner
    10. SAVE YOUR PROFITS!

With his first tip, i think what he meant was to do a thorough research of your market before you jump right into selling something. It is important to know who your target audience is, what they like instead of selling something you think they would like. With his last tip, he was trying to tell us not to be over analytical and wait right for the perfect moment to start your business but to have a bias for action. I hope that helps

I know this video is 2 years old, but I’m gonna say it anyway. Thanks for the tips! I always want to create my own clothing brand since 2015, but I know I can’t start just yet because I’m still studying abroad and have not yet settled. But I know once I do, I’ll start it rightaway, because I have been designing my brand since 2015, I did the researches, I decided the name and the concept, I’ve decided the packaging design, and write everything down. Many people told me to do it immediately, and I shouldn’t waste no time, but the thing is I haven’t even been settled in one place because I study abroad and I usually love to go for student exchanges program. And then I watched this video and you said “DON’T RUSH” and that really got me. Because tbh I was worried what if I will start if off late? but not anymore. Your tips are very helpful, it makes me even more excited about starting my own brand, thankyou! :)

When i was 16....i went to college to study art and design which the course included graphic design/interior design/textiles/photography/sculpturing from wood and clay...etc...etc...i could not finish my course due to personal reasons. I am 40 now and wish i could start off my own luxury clothing label....starting off small like hats and tshirts.....then jeans, progressing on to knitwear and jackets....going on to opening a brand named store like versace..moschino etc. What do i do? how do i start?
I've gone from job to job...few months here and there....a year there.....always depressed and feeling shit about life....now at 40 realising i am not doing what i feel what i was born to do. Create. Make money from my imagination and gift of thinking and drawing unique ideas. What do i do?

Hey man great video with great content. Just one question, how do you get better quality shirt material. I own a Shopify store but the shirts with the Printful app isn’t good.

What did you first use as a payment method for your shirts? Cash, PayPal, Square?

Great video. Thanks for the tips. Quick question do you have to have any type of permit in order to sell your own clothing line?
