Rob, I have 2 2018 NO MINT MARK PENNIES IN FRONT OF ME. I HAVENT SEEN 2018 P pennies yet here in Arizona. Also, I believe I have a couple of rolls with no mint mark.
I just found one of those Philly Mint Set Medals in a box last weekend. First time I've ever found one and I did a lot of coin roll hunting in the 80's and 90's but just getting back in to it.
I bought 12 rolls of pennies that were in 1973 wrappers and the pennies are in ms67+ almost all the coins. Opened 6 and 6 still unopened. I will be submitting a few to PCGS; HOWEVER, could I make more if left unrolled?
Yeah it's always good to find the 1st of a bucket list coin even if it's not in the best condition! I've wondered what it would be like to find the 1955 DDO but it be in less than G4 condition or has been almost completely destroyed. Have a Great Day My Friend!!!

Rob i got my other box of pennies and it's not done being hunted but I found a penny from the Bahamas and I'm in New Hampshire so that surprised me lol but nice finds!!!

The customer wrapped was a bust, machine wins this round, I had a 98 wam and sold it on ebay for 99 cents. I was bummed I made about 30 cents if I remember correctly. Guess I should have started my bid higher or made a reserve.
Hiiiiiii rob I got a penny box for Christmas guess what! I got 68 wheat pennies 7 steel 1943s and 19 teens one roll was comepletly full of wheats I hope you see this I’m so exited my first box ever!

I got a box of machine rolled pennies and I only found 6 wheat pennies. This was my first time. I did find tons of good condition 2020 pennies though.
I know this is a newby question...but why do you save your copper cents?
Because of the 3 foreign pennies I honestly think customer wrapped rolls won by a inch

Me too - but this was an interesting hunt. Customer wrapped are hit n miss, but when they hit, they hit great!
Machine rolled ones usually give me more error coins though

2018 P is normal for the pennies. No mint mark? Are you sure? All 2018 Pennies were supposed to have a mint mark.
Only in mint sets I see those sealed coins
With the 64 ddr you can see splitting on the s so unfortunately it most likely is machine doubling

I have several of those token type things in my Philadelphia and Denver uncirculated mint sets, years 88, 89, and 90
