Thank you for this video !!! Our western medics care is so quick to do these type of major surgeries but not include all the essential needs for the aftermath!
I'm only 4 weeks out but SERIOUSLY!! This should ALL be addressed before. I too was always running toward constipated since a kid. Also have diverticulosis. I was a RN my whole life but in hospital, so what did I know about long term issues for WOMEN! This just makes me mad! I am drinking 8-10 oz glasses of water, tons of roughage, prunes, on and on... the Miralax makes LIBRARY PASTE in your bowel! I'm going to try these ideas and Pray this gets squared away!
Thank GOD you told me that bc the hospital gave ME MIRALAX and 8ve never tried it and I'm looking for every healthy safe hack and option to ease this process !!! My surgery is next week!
I am 1 week 2 days post hysterectomy and I am so glad I found your channel. I'm using stool softners but they have not been that productive. I will be watching your entire series.
Finally came across this video thank you so much for doing this i have had a partial abdominal hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and the cramps are so painful that the room starts spinning
Thanks for your video I’m due to have a total laparoscopic hysterectomy next month I’m so scared about it really worried about the pain and the constipation I’m really hoping i don’t regret it
Thank you for the information. I have a machine that looks a bit like a gavel, it gives off sound waves, and is great for helping with many medical issues. Made in Germany it is called a Novafon, plugs into any wall outlet, and was first used by physical therapists. Because it increases blood circulation it helps with healing, as well as assisting with going to the loo!
Ty for the information I've been having this lower pelvic pains post partial hysterectomy I went to my Dr and he said it could be from the intestinal track ughhh I've noticed that when I'm not regular I get the pains even when passing gas. How crazy and uncomfortable and how painful I hate to think that I will be dealing with this for the rest of my life I do 70 percent of the things you recommend I guess I have to really tackle this problem thanks again
I had a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy with everything but the ovaries removed. I had IBS-D prior to this. It's been a major shock to me. I had this procedure done on April 9th 2019. Stool softeners barely work, laxatives only solve the problem temporarily. It seems like a lot of my previous medications, including the added progesterone seem to only be making it worse. Oddly, I stopped them all and ate corn beef hash and I'm currently having a fairly normal movement without the pain that usually accompanies it. I'm glad to see this isn't just me being crazy. My doctor acted as if my bloating, pain, and bowel problems should not exist at almost 8 weeks post operation. Thank you for this video.
I had a myomectomy and I still have issues with bowel movements MANY YEARS LATER. I couldn't take it anymore so I got on RUclips to see if I wasn't the only one
I have been suffering for almost 4 years with constipation that has literally ruined my life and I have been desperately searching for anything that will help. What is described in this video is everything these surgeons DO NOT tell women prior to their surgery, and then refer you to a gastro because you can’t evacuate the waste from your body since the surgery. It makes so much sense that the ‘pitch’ of your digestive system is wrong, therefore storing the fecal matter instead of releasing it. Your cortisol levels and other hormonal levels go crazy trying to compensate for waste build up and the insanity of hair loss, acne, moodiness, depression and general malaise rob you of the person you ‘used to be’...thank you for the information in this video-how about I send YOU my copay instead of sending it to the docs and health insurance company !!?? Thank you again.
Did you try Diatomaceous earth? You just have to drink a lot of water. Also what works for me is magnesium. Everything she says in the video works well. I have semi IBS symptoms due to my Endo being horrible. My Endo is absolutely horrible. Also they sell at CVS depositories that go in your bum and in an hour....you go....check them out.
Btw I'm sorry you're going through this. You're not alone. I haven't removed anything but my OBGYN is kinda hinting I should. I don't want to now. I have my surgery in a month for my removal of tissue and 2 cyst in my ovaries. How are you coping with it so far? I'm sorry again.
This was so informative I’ve been struggling post hysterectomy for three years now with Constipation I workout hard but can’t get rid of the pooch or the constant feeling of heaviness in my lower belly. I’ll definitely purchase your list of items but you didn’t list the Chinese herbs, please do so. ❤️
Thanks for your video I had my uterus and cervix removed in 2019 and in 2020 my ovary removed and constipation has been horrible thanks again for you very informative video
Hey, your video is quite informative, just 6 days ago I had a total hysterectomy, I'm having constipation issues, I'll try eating what you've recommended, thanks.
Thank you for sharing your informative video! I have to have a complete abdominal hysterectomy May 23 and am NOT looking forward to it! I am very afraid of the pain, nausea, and the constipation afterwards!! Thank you for your information!
Rhonda Norquay ,I hope you are taking it easy. I'm 7 weeks post opt and still healing. Be careful once you start gaining your strength...don't forget it really takes about 6months to fully heal.
Thank you Angela Walker for checking on me! That is so nice and sweet of you! I am doing well but I had some pain today. Not sure why. I went to help my husband at a charity event and I mostly sat. I've had a little spotting but not a lot. I'm also constipated and not sure why either. I'm not taking any narcotics for pain and even didn't in the hospital!! I've only been taking extra strength Tylenol and extra strength ibuprofen to normal strength. I went twice since I've been home and I'm going to take a laxative tonight with a stool softener. I did have a reaction to the anesthesia though and had to stay a long time in recovery due to slow breathing. I'm okay though. My surgery was May 23 so I guess I should give myself some slack. It's strange though because I can feel great and moving around not too poorly one day and be slower the next. Things will get better, I know! I'm glad that you are doing well! Best wishes on your recovery, too! Thank you for checking on me! I do appreciate it!
I had four kids pretty close together and have always been strong so I’ve had jobs that require a lot of heavy lifting. Overtime this made my pelvic floor muscles weak. My cervix and bladder dropped so these had to fixed. They removed my uterus and cervix but left my ovaries due to them being super healthy
I'm post op uterus, cervix and folopian tubes removed keeping my ovaries. I put myself on 24 hour liquid diet before surgery, yesterday was the procedure and last night I started allowing oatmeal, along with lots of fluids. Today for breakfast eggs and nibble of cookie. Lunch chicken noodle soup, wanting a bowel movement. I have been taking stool softeners, baby prune puree. I'm concerned about my colon getting backed up. 😯
I am on week 7 post hysterectomy and constipated 😢 I have pain everywhere this surgery is no joke. Takes one pain away and gives you another. Then ended up in the hospital 1 week post surgery with an infection and now was in the hospital again and they just sent me home with pin meds and said u will be ok come back if it gets worse. 😩
It can also cause diarrhoea instead of constipation. Scar tissue inside d abdomen also causes problems. Plus all d enemas given to d patient & d extra strong dose of antibiotics change d bowel chernistry. Bloating & gas is experienced by many women.
I am doing your seed cycling so when I am on days 15-30 should I not be having chia or flax seeds? I believe you said sunflower and sesame seeds those days? Do you have a sesame seed you would recommend?
My problem is before my surgery I was already constipated and also for myself fiber makes me constipated as well... I had my surgery 4 days ago and I am very bloated. Is there anything else I can do to help have a bowel movement?
Castor oil or diatomaceous earth food grade just drink a crap load of water. Also fiber work. What I try Is probiotics and dandelion tea. Be careful with castor oil.
I am 11 days post LAVH with removal of Fallopian tubes and cervix. I also had an umbilical hernia repair at the time of the hysterectomy. I have been experiencing constipation, and what I would also call pelvic floor congestion, at times. I have been drinking tons of water and stopped all pain medication on day 5. Through diet and medication, I have only had two semi significant bowel movements. Both of which were after use of dulcolax suppository. In no particular order: milk of magnesia, simethicone, dulcolax, fleets glycerin suppository, miralax, salad. Raspberries, watermelon, cherries, almonds, prunes and prune juice.. I boiled hot peppermint tea and dissolved miralax and honey at 2a.m. this morning., have had two cans of prune juice in 24 hours, and two salsas… I have experienced gas (cramping) and passage as well as some stool passing, but not very much. I am so bloated and frustrated. I am likely going to have to get the dandelion tea you speak of and some magnesium.. hoping this helps.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have discussed this several times with my gyno oncologist who basically dismissed me saying it's no big deal. One thing I have a question about is that you mentioned using flaxseed to help relieve the constipation. I had ovarian cancer that is estrogen dominant, I have always heard that flaxseed is an estrogenic (not sure if that is a word) food. Do you have an opinion on that?
My doctor never came in my hospital room to discuss anything about the surgery she did. They want you to come back so they can get paid again to tell you
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It's important for doctors to provide proper communication and follow-up after a surgery. If you have concerns or questions, I recommend reaching out to your doctor's office to request a follow-up appointment or discuss your concerns with the hospital's patient advocate. It's important to ensure clear communication and understanding regarding your medical care.
Please would you be kind enough to share your thoughts on vaginal vault brachytherapy after hysterectomy for Endometrial cancer, to protect the vaginal cuff from recurrence. I have Stage 1B grade 1 Endometrial Cancer, and have never been keen on the idea of chemo or radiation. Being subjected to this procedure is known to cause fear as well as emotional and physical trauma to women as well as humiliation to the point where they are often known to suffer from PTSD. I am scheduled to have three doses a week apart. And, would be interested to know the experiences of other women after reading several scientific papers on the topic it is fair to say it sounds brutal and traumatic at best, certainly not something any one in their right mind would choose to look forward to or willingly agree to. I was told the reason for the treatment is to prevent the necessity of having radiation of the whole pelvic area if cancer returns. I am keen to do all I can to limit my risk of comorbidities, have lost 30lbs so far and am continuing to fast and eat plant-based, high fiber, low protein, only Ezekiel sprouted organic bread. No GMOs, no sugar or processed foods and drink plenty of water. I also fast most days to lose weight quickly. I exercise, try to sleep well and am learning meditation.
For women who are offered to have a hysterectomy, try Osteopathic and chiropractic treatments to balance the nerve functions of the back that feed the ovaries. Do Fall a victim of a butcher .
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing pain and difficulty with bowel movements. It's important to address this issue with a healthcare provider l who can provide proper guidance and advice based on your specific situation. They may recommend alternative solutions or treatments to help alleviate your symptoms. It's always best to seek medical assistance for any persistent discomfort or concerns related to bowel movements. Please feel free to arrange a meeting with me so that we may talk about your health and well-being objectives and discuss your questions in more detail bit.ly/3EmExdU

Day 4 I had a bowel. Layered a laxative between meals or Niralax. Day 6 just keep building and waiting for the next. This is cray cray!
Thank you so much for posting

never saw he Amazon link.
Margaret McCampbell - it's in the description.
Omg! I wish I saw this 3 weeks ago. I died due to hemorrhoids.
Do you not recommend coffee enemas?
