Chad could you see you and Jolene in the future doing a complete overhaul on the Terra plane ? All body work paint and interior work ? It would be a gem if you did and I'd be watching that to ! Thumbs-up guys you peek my interest every day !
Bad Chad, I can not believe how much you can do in an hour. And Jolene thank you for sharing the great videos you do. Jolene you get right in there so we can see Chad do his works. Both of you folks are outstanding at what you both do.. See ya all tomorrow.
@@i8ntnuts It does make you wonder. Didn't they say at one time, it would be used in their wedding? Maybe that is the holdup, one or both don't want to get married. Just a thought. Incredible how you can get a car to that point and just quit on finishing it.
I really, really like the way your Terraplane is coming together! It looks so much better with your decision to chop the top, add fender skirts etc., etc. Every line is just right. I think it is one of your most perfect projects ever, can't wait to see it done and driving! BTW - did you remember to drill weep holes in the bottom of the spare tire buckets?
Most perfect? Chad said it doesn’t really look any different than it did before. Maybe he should lower that big bubble on top of the roof so people can tell it’s chopped? Either way, it’s pretty cool, huh?
I have over the years seen guys that work hard. You are just simply PHENOMENAL!! You get so much done in so little time. Thanks again Chad and Jolene for letting us all watch. It really is a privilege. It is so close. I can't wait to hear it running and you 3, Fina included, going fir a cruise in it. Hot Shower tonight Chad. Thanks Again. 😊
We all have had work situations that we wanted to get out of. Mine was a packaging plant. Fresh out of school with a degree, I had to bide my time for the jobs to open up. I hated every minute of it. But you know, it builds character. You grew as a result of that experience. You're an artist Chad. You do awesome work. The Terraplane is coming together nicely. Also, I can't wait to see what you do with the T-Bird.
I saw Chad measuring up front on the panel and thought, he'll never put them there, sure nuff, Chad is a natural and naturally he centered the chrome on the rear wheel, can't wait to see you design the T-Bird! ᕙ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ
Chad ,Queen Jolene, I just wanted to start by saying I love you both and I think Chad's designs are incredible and his skills are top notch. I also think his vision (eye) is maturing in his designs in a direction that is very tasteful and that I personally prefer, thanks for sharing your work with me ,you two are wonderful people.
Think about Chad like this.....He Is a CUSTOMIZER and dosent usually work as a restoration person. Therefore when he looks at something he is thinking about customization.... I don't understand why people have such a hard time understanding this. Not every car can be restored He dosent tell you which way to go with your project. If you don't like everything he does then take what you do like and throw away the rest.... Great job Chad and Jolene....keep up the great work guys.
No thanks Chad does surprises me anymore. I have to admit, though I was just a little surprised he didn’t wash the dirt off of this thing when he brought it home. The second thing I would have done would be to get it running.
As a member of a lowrider club , I appreciate the attention to detail you are putting into this build. The trim piece on the fender skirt is a beautiful touch. Thank you for great content!
Chad glad to see you back on it and so far so good as I said I can't wait until you get it running and driving down the street. Hi Jolene wish we could see you more but you do an awesome job on the camera. God bless you all and have a blessed night
Hello Chad and Jolene as i told Chad on my visits over the last few years you guys are amazing with all you're projects you should be proud of yourselfs it's really awesome i enjoy your videos very much and appreciate Chad not minding me dropping by to say hello when im in the area . Thanks Chris LowerBranch N.S
Such great content love watching everyday the car looks amazing and will certainly get noticed at the coffee shop . Excellent camera work Jolene amazing content from your work .
I loving seeing this project take shape The lowered roof, wheels in the guards, all make this stand out. Thanks for your video From Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
The Hudson is looking good, as for the "Thunderbird " a thought would be to (chop , channel, and a continental on the rear. But wide "white walls"; are a must with ,what are called, I believe 'salt flat diisks' or smooth wheel disks, or even beatuy rings and dog dish hubcaps. But don't take too much out of the roof. A good color for the t- bird would be black! Maybe even "fender skirts". Your choice and Jolene's. Keep up the Good Work!
The Hudson looks GREAT! I think it was the right decision to leave it a four door for sure. What is the plan to hold the Spares in place though? I do like the "OG " metal strap over the tire look. I didn't see how they attach to the car but leather straps with a buckle I think would look good to hold the metal straps eith mirrors on them as well. ( I think Chad had mentioned the mirrors . Any way It's always cool to tune in to see whats next
Around the 50 min mark he kinda talks about the belts he's having made, but he hasn't talked about how he's gonna make them look yet which is kinda exciting waiting.
@@jonathanolin2643 Yea I just went back and rewatched around that mark and for sure he did. I dont know how I missed that. What was said is what was basically what I was thinking. Cool

@fromthebeginningofvankind28 honestly, this is the first project of his I've watched from the beginning. I just started following recently so I have alot to catch up on and didn't even know he had a tv show at first so I have plenty of entertainment for awhile. And yes that t bird project is probably going to be amazing. I've always been into cars and I've never had the room or funds to do this type of stuff so watching these kind of videos helps my cravings.
Hudson approved! I'm sure more than a few die hard Hudson folks will be liking how this is turning out. I'd be cool to place this one next to a stocker, to see the difference.
I think the front view is awesome. No, it just needs a proper top chop to get rid of that hideous bubble on top of the roof. in fact, the way it is most people wouldn’t even know the roof has been lowered. It was still fun watching though.
I think the way your doing it is the best way to go about it not perfect just good enough to enjoy it blend in some paint and let the age do the rest as your driving it. If you made it to clean with a new paint job you would be to worried about it getting scratched or someone parking by it with doors to close. Making it a street cruiser. Oh and p.s. you can have the whole family and friend's ride with you in that car. Looks like a smaller version of a limousine.
The old Hudson is looking good ! I enjoy the paint videos myself. I think you could really benefit from an exhaust fan. A whole house attic fan mounted in the ceiling or a wall would be good I’m thinking. Guess the motor might have to be sealed due to flammable dust and such. Seems to me if you just blow that dust off the car it just goes everywhere. A fan could pull it all outside even the smells… just a thought man. Anything I say on here is said with respect.
When you first talked about chopping the top of the car changed altogether and it looks so cool !!!! To use your term it looks gangster and if this car was a cheap Hudson has a Lotta body details lines just very cool. I didn’t understand when talked about putting fender skirts on it and tire side mounts it just looks like it’s should have came the factory this way again it just looks right is this a dress and on your white wall? Cleaners Clorox soft scrub? I think it is that works really good. Just a suggestion.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Well at least he's got enough time ambition and money did he can at least build those cars have the building up and put them in there more than what 90% of the people are doing in the Annapolis Valley sitting back waiting for their welfare checks to come in
I would get me a small palm sander ti use in tight places. Nice to see the welded areas get covered up with a bit of paint. Mother nature will help out as time goes by. I believe a good washing then a clear coat would be fabulous. Chad and Jolene keep doing what you do.

I’m surprised he doesn’t work on the Bugatti with all the free time he has. I’m starting to think they don’t really care about that car.
@@i8ntnuts It does make you wonder. Didn't they say at one time, it would be used in their wedding? Maybe that is the holdup, one or both don't want to get married. Just a thought. Incredible how you can get a car to that point and just quit on finishing it.

Great project. To the viewers...Hudson, Essex and Terraplane were separate makes in the Hudson line, not models of a Hudson.
Most perfect? Chad said it doesn’t really look any different than it did before. Maybe he should lower that big bubble on top of the roof so people can tell it’s chopped? Either way, it’s pretty cool, huh?
