- This 'lost footage' was recorded in 2021 in Central Victoria where we visit the site of a very special ruined Colonial Home - the residence of Mrs Lewis, a Lady-in-Waiting in the Victorian Court. A big thank you to our mate Greckie for letting us on to his very special site, which had never been detected - until now! All the best and Happy Fossicking! Warren.

What a fantastic permission, Warren! The history is wonderful! I read in the comments below that you donated your finds to Greckie "so that they'd stay where they belong." That's brilliant! Would be thrilled if a Part-2 emerges at some point, in the meantime, cheers from the PNW!
Thanks for your comment WWG, yes the relics from that site are a special part of the local history and should stay in the area. All the best and Happy Fossicking! Warren.

What a wonderful and historic place to detect in Warren, Grekke was a star to let you detect with him and the lad. The different relics are awesome especially the token, the large buckle and the broach front. Thank you both for telling us the history behind the site of Mrs Lewis's life, that was so interesting. I do hope you have another video of the site, you have already found some wonderful things, who knows what else is hiding in the ground? Take care and stay safe please my friends good luck and happy fossicking God bless you all love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Thanks for your comment Mary-Ellen. That site has been preserved and undisturbed for 160 years until Greckie decided one afternoon to let loose. Was great to be part of that history. All the very best and Happy Fossicking! Warren.

Thanks for commenting Chris, was a great few days as you know - all the best mate and Happy Fossicking! Warren.
Love the history,good job
The other day near here at my spot I found fragments of a pint case gin "W.C. Peacock &Co. Ltd. Honolulu H.I." these turn purple and date from before annexation in 1898. It's the 2d broken one I've found here, and a "T.H." variety, post '98. To date my only found whole gins are a pair of slick pints right here about 2017. I found my only good token, the Pantheon Saloon here in 2018.
Thanks for commenting Tom, we also enjoy getting 19th Century Tokens as there are less of them here in Queensland than in the Southern States of Australia, simply because they were made illegal not long after the Colony of Queensland separated from New South Wales. We do find them up here, but less common than down in Victoria. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.
Great place to be detecting at mate 👍

Thanks for your great comment Matty - yes Les Hiddins and Jack Absalom and Malcom Douglas inspired a whole lot of us Aussies to get out and have a look at our country. I still go back and watch their videos now and then today. Great stuff. All the best mate and Happy Fossicking! Warren.
